Ruffle Braid & Bonus MYSTERY Braid

This is a ribbon braid tutorial that shows you how to make the Ruffle Braid. It’s also a tutorial to show you how to make a braid that I am not sure of the name, so I’ve called it Mystery Braid! For the hot glue strings, dab the tip of your glue gun on the ribbon to “cut off” the glue instead of just lifting your glue gun away. Think of of it like the meaty cheese on a good slice of pizza, you gotta cut it off. 😊💕

How are you gluing the two together?? Gluing a ruffle to ruffle, or top of , then bottom or, or skipping one. I'm watching your hands, but can't really tell. Thank you!!

I just started this to try but read somewhere to keep your glue sticks in the freezer. I plan on using them in a day or two, I’ll update if it works

Okay, I am getting set to do the ruffle Braid. Got my Rufflers, and now I am wondering if you used Satin or some kind of softer ribbon?? I have the braiding ribbons , I mean they call it McGinley Satin, however it does contain acetate. Would you give me an idea on what you used on he blue and yellow. Thank you again!

I have never seen the ruffle braid before. I'm having trouble with dimensions. What is the width of your ribbon and the length of your box pleats? The blue and yellow is beautiful. Also did you double your ribbon?
