In OW2 I've been playing as a support Hanzo every time I see a widow on my team. I give her a lil mini version of her ult every 12 seconds, I watch her back and cover the off angles for her, it's lots of fun 😊

I like the positioning tips given but I think you can become a way better player (in general) when you recognize your own mistakes and correct it rather than blaming team mates every death. Its a team based game.

My thing with Hanzo is it’s really hard to get headshots in the small characters that move fast, cause imo it’s hard to line up with their heads when they never stop for even a second
what I learned from this is: As long as your stats are good, it doesn't matter if you lose, it's your teams fault, even if you're playing into hard counters. Like a true hanzo main
im kidding btw, its just qp and ik he was only doing it to show what to do
still relevant, dataïsm is a problem since the arrival of scoreboards…

unfortunately, you did not talk about how to actually aim better with hanzo, especially when dueling with someone or trying to focus on someone from off-angles and flanks. one effective technique is to position your crosshair where you anticipate the enemy to move, and then wait for them to walk into it before taking the shot, instead of relying on flick shots and hoping for a hit.
otherwise, fantastic video!
also, when dueling with someone who is holding a cover, you can position your crosshair very close to that cover and wait for them to return to it. as soon as they attempt to return to the cover, take the shot because that is where they are likely to be.

Love how the Tracer calls you fraudmito before the games starts and then gets instant domed 15 seconds into the round.

If Hanzo is sort of a niche pick in ranked ladder, why is he seen a lot in organized play? I know on some maps he’s replaced Cassidy in a Mei/Rein brawl comp. Is it because of his one-shot capability and/or his verticality?

high dps/one shot, brawl comps take most of the enemy awareness and allows for easy shots
well he is only replacing cree in a mirror matchup. He can take more off angles than cree, has a higher « raw frontal damage » (very good against this comp) and can turn a fight with a one shot. Otherwise against ball dives, tracers and stuff, cree is more reliable to hit shots ;)

Little tips about dragon strike
Dragon strike has 2 damage area, core is 300/s, outside ring is 150/s
Dragon generate from your arrow and it change I forgot which patch but basically it generates farther than before . It means dragon has a empty area in front of you (about 5)so usually you want to back leap then pressing Q.

Hey, I was just wondering you hit like no headshot kills, and i feel like i already do this, but i actully hit head shots and im in silver and im averaging a 30 to 40% normal shots and 20 to 35% headshot i know its silver but is there a reason like is it harder to hit shots in high ranks because i genuinely dont know if i have good aim or its just because rank since its low or is it both?
Its 3 reasons
- 1. The pressure on you is lower. You have more time to take shots because your opponents have worse aim
- 2. Your opponents have less erratic movement, so shots are easier to hit
- 3. Positioning - your opponents are out in the open more often. This means you never even have to spam corners, which lowers accuracy but maximizes the amount of shots hit for hanzo
- 4. Playstyle differences: if you shoot tanks more, or flank more, or stay close distance more, you hit more shots (at the cost of your own life)

Tbh I think seeing a game like this is more useful than a game where everything is going well.
Realistically you aren’t going to hit every shot, especially against dive comps. It’s not like he was losing duels he should have won.
This video was more about how you should approach the game as Hanzo, including when to swap off lmao.
