Acute phase reactants(APR) are some markers released by liver after any stimulus from any organ or tissue......known as APR.
Factors for the synthesis of these reactants are cytokines.
Classified into positive and negative APR.
Eg.CRP....CP....ALBUMIN....RBP ....etc.
Adverse effects r anorexia and anemia.
