The way I found this was at a mall. Me and my friends were jokingly looking around, because we don’t go to malls since we think they’re “girly”. There was a retro section stand that I, as a gamer in was interested in. It had a few screens where you could test it. They forced you to play Mario 3 instead of the 3 snes games they had on the console. I’m surprised it was $70. I knew it was 8-bit the entire time, and I jokingly bought it. I mean, MegaMan works really good on it, but Punch Out has the wrong colors. They seem to have changed the controllers and the slightly the UI. The controllers are more accurate to a Super Nintendo controller, and the backgrounds have changed. They have a few bootleg games, but you mainly buy it for the classics. I feel like this is worth it for a joke or if you want to play NES games with a SNES controller. They had a 601 console that was a NES, but the controller has 4 buttons, which I laughed at. Oh! Bonus for the SNES clone, the Y, X, Left trigger, and right trigger all had the same effects as A and B, just worse in every way.
i wish i could get a pre-loaded SNES console with all the kirby and donkey kong games, super mario world and mario kart were so awesome back then , good memories!
We just ordered 2 of these for our 6 yrs olds bedrooms as their first gaming consoles full well knowing what to expect as far as quality but my kids are destructive and lose every toy they get so I went this route instead of a Xbox or PlayStation for now

Unfortunately I bought a clone by mistake when I was thinking I was getting the original Super NES classic but in a way it works out because there's a lot of NES games on the Super NES clone that we're not on the regular NES classic and I don't like that they did repeat the same game on the system to that's my disappointment with it at least it's still has a ton of NES games that I needed to play
They're selling this exact same unit at this mall near me right now, even I caught that there is not 1 SNES game on it and I said it was a scam out loud and front of everybody and of course I had to leave. For $70, not worth it

I was expecting it to have super metroid, LOZ LTTP, and Megaman X on it, instead I got a huge list of regular nintendo games, most of which are games I don't care about, the game menu is set up poorly and is overall just shitty. @@newt2942 It is nearly all NES, there are a few SNES games like Mortal Kombat 3 but the graphics are 8 bit and the gameplay is absolutely intolerable if you played the original game. There are some good NES games like various mario titles and things like that. But all around it is a massive disappointment because the system is clearly made to look like a SNES but it definitely isn't, it is clearly deceptive and it's the same as being lied to and scammed. The small bit of good in this is making many games available across a wide spectrum of games, but the game menu is irritating, there are so many games available that finding the few good ones is a nuisance and some aren't even compete games, the Contra series is divided into levels and there's like 20 of them. Do not waste your money...
i dont need a clone i got the real thing! and now with that magicNS update that uses wiimotes, i can even play ANY game with my snes classic controller!
i liked the updated graphics its like nes to 16bit graphics but for $50 i wld just buy a rasp-pi or what i have been doing for years just find old pc's and dump all the emulation and roms surprisingly up to ps1, nes64 run fairly decent with just on board graphics chips

Straight off random ROM sites, and because they are graphics only hacks the manufacturer can probably reuse the same PRG-ROM.

I got one from Temu I paid $26 so im not disappointed but I can’t get any sound from it because that’s what made these classic games were the sounds.
