no need to change the chip, you need to do a reflow, cover around the chip with aluminum tape and place few drop of liquid flux under chip and then heat it up for 1-2 min at 200c then let VERY important do not touch or move let it COOL down at room temperature dont force the cool down, after 5-10min then use and alcohol to clean make sure its a 99% iso alcohol, then you finished

man im so sorry if he (for sure he heated a lot) tried re-balling and he failed at it. not you GPU is dead, you will need a new BGA GPU and some one experience on reballing. now back on your problem, The issue that you get its not because of the GPU is bad or anything, its a very common issue on a windows package update that they placed in. all you had to do when you got the black screen was one of the two: 1. You can quickly reset your graphics driver using the Win + Ctrl + Shift + B keyboard combination. This command makes your screen turn black for a second, but it restarts your graphics driver, which can potentially fix any issues you've been having. 2. install windows 10 version 1909 and then install 1st all the drivers from Dell website and upgrade the bios and then windows update. again we get this issue on hp and dell and some lenovo laptops, and its essay fixed, but unfortunately for you, the STUPID retard half ass douchebag so called technician have fried your GPU by over heating to re-flow (or try reballing). sorry my friend, should of asked first.

cuando prendes prende focos y no da imagen, y fue explicado al principio. si estoy diciendo, y no van a querer para que ver! llevo 18 años reparando electrónicas, y en esos modelos cuando haya una falla como explicado " prender y prenden luces LEd indicadores y no da imagen" 90% es su GPU fallando!, otro 10% puede ser ram cable flexor, alguna capacitor, backlight, y un million otra cosas chiquitas. pero tabien si no te parece hay otro videos. saludos
