I love the way you are making this video. You are making astrophotography so much more fun when you just show how to do it and not all that bull shit that some are making.
Thanks for the videos it's really helping me 👍👍

Great information on sharpening in Gimp. I recently started to use Topaz Denoise Ai for my images and really like what it does. Any thoughts about that software?

      Hey AZ,
Topaz is awesome tool! Denoise is particularly good.

Great stuff! I just want to ask if there's any free stacking apps on android?

    • @AstroOnBudget

Hi Triton, I am not really sure about Android apps. I have never used phones for stacking. They might be great but I really don't know.

Thanks for this tutorial! I got this far, but when I try to drag the one of the layers to the new layer group, nothing happens. Anyone else have this problem?

I was able to right-click and select "Merge down". This seemed to work.

To me the difference is negligible. Using Gaussian Blur? that is opposite of sharpening , counterintuitive. I will use other software.

Cool, something new to try 👍
By the way, do you have an Instagram or astrobin account? Please and thank you.

I do have Instagram but I don't use it much unfortunately. AstroBin is something I am working on. Do you have either of these?

@@AstroOnBudget yeah, I've got the usual Instagram, and just started the basic Astrobin not too long ago.
