10 Settings You should Turn On in DJI Mini 2 SE
In this tutorial, I’ll show you 10 must-change settings for the DJI Mini 2 SE to get the best performance:
RTH Altitude: Under the Safety tab, adjust the "Return to Home" (RTH) altitude to avoid obstacles like trees or buildings. Because I fly near tall buildings, I keep this at atleast 60 Meters.
Signal Loss Action: In Safety, under Advanced Safety Features, set it to "Return to Home" (or "Hover" if flying on a boat). Avoid "Descend."
Units: Under Control, choose your preferred measurement system. Australians might prefer km.
Map Visibility: Ensure your map is on for easier navigation by clicking the map icon.
Upward Gimbal Rotation: Enable this under Control to increase camera flexibility.
Resolution: Change the video resolution from 1080p to 2.7K for better quality.
Photo Format: In picture mode, switch from JPEG to J+RAW for better editing options.
Quickshot Settings: Update Quickshot resolution from 1080p to 2.7K.
Gridlines: Enable grid lines in the camera settings to improve composition.
Pro Mode: Eventually, switch from Auto to Pro mode for more control.

How to Bring Out Colors in SiriL -Astrophotography Tutorial
that image looks great!! i do have a question. i'm using Siril 1.2.5, i'm new to the software and have stacked 5 sets of exposures but only one has worked properly. the others i have received an error message stating that there are not enough stars picked in the image. at least six are required..... there are lots of stars in the image. any ideas?
I find your short videos very useful, no matter how long ago you made them. I was having difficulty finding the live view in NINA to test a new camera. During the day the exposure has to be set short like 0.05s and, in m case, the ZWO driver wasn't working - got a ZWO driver error. Reinstalled the driver and it was working.
good video, but how do you stack the images? my biggest question ishow do you save all of your edits? there's no save button
Is it just me, or is the audio really quiet?
I checked the description but why do we need anything other than light files? I’m not exactly sure if I can shoot these “bias files” and stuff.
Finally helpful tutorial series! Helped me a lot
Just use an ASIair, omg, my days of bringing a computer outside and hooking cables up to the telescope are over. Thanks for all the great videos too. 👍
My friend. Please help me: telescope focal length 714mm , canon 1100d chip diagonal about 26.6 mm please explain to me how you got that 1.5 pixel resolution number. I want to understand. Big thanks
A helpful video. Thanks.
Oh, GAWD! Why, why, WHY that horrendous background noise??????? I am hearing impaired and that noise makes it almost impossible for me to understand you!
saving this for when i get the seestar s30!!!
❤
Thank for the Video. I have been using a Mele for a number of years with no serious issues - but I am always looks for improvement in performance and to learn new tips and tricks. I have been running with this "Enabled". Your video has it " Enabled" on the the screen but to me it sounds like it would recommend it be disabled. ( Done by using using the Drop down that will show with you click the blue colored 'Enabled" text. Maybe I just need more coffee? LOL Can you clarify, please?
Thank you for not making this a 30 minute video.
Does this scope come with a mounting?
I don't get a result file, I think my stacking failed somehow. Whst can I do?
What can I do if I don't get a result file? I think it failed in one step of the stacking process and now I don't know how to continue...
Very well done
Where are the viewing images, every reviewer raves without views/pics
Do you prefer this method over the Photoshop method ? which one works better from your experience?
What file do I extract it to?? I’m having so much issues!! Pls help!
Easy! Thank you so much.
Thank you very much, this saved me hours of trial and error ❤
Will the new solar roof technology cause the earth to heat up, resulting in a Real climate warming? 🤔 🤔🤔🤔🤔. Could this be why they are practically giving it away for free? Sorta like how they've been deceitful about electric cars being good for the environment.
I am just starting out in AP and these are quite easy to understand tutorials, thanks for that Although , I seem to have hit a snag at the very beginning. I admit, that my photos are from mobile phone, but it's RAW. I am trying to edit and bring out the comet close to the horizon so it's essentially just after sundown and still in its residual glow. I have stacked images. When I am trying to do curves for stretching, it seems to be enhancing the wrong part of the image..with the comet part getting more washed out.. Can you give me a general direction to go about it?
Beginners into astro photography don't know anything. So, explaining what files are needed for Siril is necessary. I took some night pictures with an old Canon T1i and set it for RAW. I got CR2 and JPG files. I know nothing about "biases, lights, darks, etc.". When Siril is opened a beginner thinks, "Now what?". So, explaining "data" is essential. Thank you.
One of the images you showed definitely had star halos. I guess it depends on each setup, and star brightness, as to whether they will be present or not.
The best tutorial, simple, objective and powerfull. Thanks by share it.
I have question. I took only light frame pictures. How to get other frames and what setting? Thank you!
Live photos? Dark photos? I don't get it
After I watched this video, I understand the program keep going you're amazing
Wonderful video..thank you. I like your slow and composed style of narration.
Is there a focuser for the MK105mm?
I need to re-try. I never did get my Neowise subs stacked, and I have hundreds! Still have ZTF, and now Tsuchinsan-Atlas frames to do. This tutorial hopefully will help. Thanks.
Hi how are you Excellent video? I wanted to ask what reducer you use for it. Thanks, Guy.
Mini 2 se or dji neo ? Plz reply
Definitely the mini 2 se. Just got mine yesterday. I was at the same question as you. Definitely not regretting going to a neo. the 2 se is pretty much cheaper because it comes with the controller. It has better battery life and it offers smoother experience. Neo is not going to compete in my opinion unless you want something that will follow you. The battery on neo is not as great as 2 se. Also doesn’t come with the remote unless you spend $100 extra. I have taken my 2 se out today and it was quite windy. It handled really well. The camera was stable as the drone was wobbling. And if I were you. I would get the fly more combo(cheaper for what you get) I have the standard one however. But your choice. The neo is actually more expensive if you get it with the remote and it is worse
@OLLI6867 thank you very much I will get the mini 2 combo than it cost about 50000 Rupees India, 40000 for Neo combo
@ great choice. You will love it. No problem 😉
I picked up the 2SE at Walmart on clearance for only $125! It is an awesome drone for the money (even at regular price), you're going to love it man
My pictures always come out with a lot of negative vignetting even though I use flats in DSS.
Perfect, thank you exactly what I was looking for. Easy to follow!
Dss keeps crashing as soon as stacking process begins. All frames taken with Canon 450D. 4gb ram, Windows 10. Tried on two different laptops and a desktop computer, all crashing after process begins. Any ideas?
Jesus love you all so much he can save us all for real✝️❤️
No he can't, Allah can.
get out
I came looking to learn how to stack photos in Siril, I left here without knowing how to stack with Siril and with a recommendation for another video. Congratulations
What about images shot with a ZWO S50? No DBF options?
Hi mate, thanks for the wealth of videos, but I am tryign to do one simple thing. I bought a new big scope and I pointed it as Saturn to get 1000 images to stack. I do not have darks or any of the such, how can I just do a quick caputre in SharpCap to SER file and the use SERIL to make a nice image from that? Thanks.
That's why I only look at the moon with a telescope
How do handle flats for calibration? My UHC filter gives bad flats because the levels are so different between red, green and blue (mine has high levels for red and blue, very low green).
Is it usefull when taking milky way photos? Thank you!
Needed a recap on how to activate the comet stacking in dss, thank you! C/2023-A3 is starting to dim a bit, but it's bright enough still to see with a pair of binos.
I shot C/2023 A3 Sat Oct 26. Definitely still worth chasing. I am hoping for a clearer night as I had clouds to deal with, but still got decent data Looks awesome in 15x70 binoculars.
Quick and on point. Bravo
What about Sony 😢
Im using a Nikon and it works out well its just how you set the settings of the camera
DOES THIS SCOPE COME WITH THE STAND?
