@@AstroOnBudget I go to colors tab then levels and at the bottom of the levels it has different settings for the gray points. I usually choose the middle point. You then have to select an area on the image as a reference point. Sometimes it does not work well. So I cancel the operation and go to Siril and use the remove green operation before continuing on.
Perfect Tutorial Man!! I Use Exactly the Same Technique for color Correction! I think Gimp Is a Great Tool For Astrophotography Processing, I have Used It for Dynamic Background extraction using Gradient Tool!!
I have a question. On your histogram on the main part, how come the size is at the top and more squatty and mine is elongated and runs from top to bottom?
