A great song by two men who changed an era. And a man that didn’t touch a guitar till he was 20. He has the same soul as brooks and Dunn years ago when this song came out. I think I speak for us all when I say I want to hear more with the three of them.

I feel like Luke is one of the only people on the album who can match the vocal presence of Ronnie Dunn. I’m not even talking about him being “real country” either, I’m saying that Dunn has such a powerful and commanding voice that most of the other voices on this album take a backseat. Not Luke tho, he holds his own with one of the best. One more reason to like the guy.

I love this remake. Although it also pains me to think how much better B&D could have sounded with another strong vocalist like Ronnie.
Last time I saw B&D in concert was the Electric Rodeo tour in Biloxi MS. I think that was 1994! Time flies but they are still one of my favorites.
