I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other. It seems like it's impossible for men and women to emotionally connect with each other. Women do emotionally connect with other women, better than men do. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone.
I've had genuine feelings for one person that never felt the same way towards me, it was the most devastating thing at the time. But in retrospect, I realised that those feelings were better off being given to someone more deserving, someone who saw me in the same way i saw them. It's not the end of the world, it's just the end of that chapter, and moving on is the bravest thing you can do.

They have less masks to wear and are thus more open to their partner. I've seen many hetero relationships where they fraught with deception and lots of masks. It was hard for them to be open with each other when they aren't being their true self. The same-sex relationships I've seen tend to be way better and open. There seems to be a lot more respect and a lot less judgments between same-sex couples than there is between heterosexual couples.

It has been about 1 year 1,5 years since she left me, her mother did not approve of me solely because of my skin color, this is going to sound like one of those cliches "Do not be racist and treat everyone fairly" we are all starting to get tired of but this was something I had never experienced before. I am a stand-up lad but getting into that relationship with her was selfish, it did not start off as a relationship where I loved the person I was with but it started off as a way to make myself feel better. I guess reading everyone down here in the comments talking about how they lost a loved one or got dumped inspired me to finally open up about this, and sometimes it takes a total stranger to open up to. Even though it was her mother who finally cut us off in the end it was bound to happen along the road, I was not ready for anything serious I just wanted to be loved. When you get into a relationship it is no longer about you, it is about the both of you and I had yet to realize that simple fact. Did I love her? Yes, I did, in the end, it hurt more like anything I could have imagined and more, took a time to get over a relationship that honestly was not even that long (Maybe 3 months) but she was the person my world revolved around for a long time and so it was the other way around, but we were both too young and I was certainly not ready for something serious. Niss if you are reading this (which I highly doubt) I want you to know that I do not blame you for anything that happened and that I do not blame you for going through with your mothers request to cut me off. I was scared of the attachment and scared of where it might have taken me. As for your mother, I'm sure she was only doing what she thought was right for you. While you can’t always control the cause, you can eventually manage the effect. Endings are common, painful, and necessary steps on our path. This is from the movie Father and Daughter. She lost her father when she was very small and it caused her afraid of attachment so she made herself a who're to avoid commitment until she met him. Then slowly she became too scared of really wanting him not to ever be gone like her father (I believe) and she fucked another dude in the bar and let her bf know immediately. He left her of course. The song her dad lived went on display and remind her of her dad and why she's so fucked up and then this scene happened. She confessed why and then they got back together at the end. Her aunt was also the reason why she's fucked up because her aunt tried to steal her from her dad and caused his death then they took her in as their daughter and raised her in such horrible mental health condition (but they're wealthy).
So this guy was the loser who settled for used and damaged goods. I bet getting back with her was the beginning of his life falling apart. Such women destroy not only themselves but everyone around them.
This pain is so real, Its been over 10 months since i was replaced by another, they gave up on me when i was trying my best to be better. I've questioned everything a thousand times, replayed every scene in my head a thousand times, Wished i could go back and be better, change into what would have suited them better. To me, there has been no worse pain then being given up on while your begging for them to keep fighting. I still feel the pain, not as much, but its still there, I have much more respect for myself now, I try to laugh and smile. We are broken, but please never give up

@arjunjs48 Thank you for asking I completely forgot about this comment I made. Basically, I've really improved in all aspects of my life. I've read lots of motivational books, got into the best shape of my life, learned to play guitar, started tutoring math, learned a new language (well am still learning it) got into a second martial art, made some money, and so on. I don't know what pushed me to keep going, maybe it was anger, or some twisted sense of vengefulness, trying to be better for her, but without her... I dunno man, now 1 year later I rewatched this video and I didn't feel a thing, except pride that I overcame my demons. I see that no matter how hard it may seem in the moment, whovever you are out there, you will get through whatever you're going through. Sadness is a great fuel, so use it until it is all gone and you are left to bear fruit of the new heights it has propelled you to.

I believe being alone is better than being in a toxic relationship and that relationship could of any kind like family, friends or your partner. For a healthy life you need to be around people who acknowledge you, love you and guide you to the best they can.

I was always the breadwinner even after I lost my job. Rather than take accountability for himself not being where he wanted to be he instead said I made him too comfortable.

While being in my car that he never once asked to help me pay gas once for. I did the dumping even though I love him. I was unhappy in that relationship. His family made it their life's mission to hate me for no reason. I can't marry into something like that. I got ghosted in December 2019 then dumped in January 2020 after being 3 years into a relationship. The sudden rush of overwhelming emotions of pain, anger, sadness left deep scar in me. When I try to move forward, I'm scared to get rejected and experience those horrible emotions again so I've confineded myself into a state where I grief in solitude as happiness is a luxury that has a string of sadness attached to it that I cannot afford.
Mostly everyone wants love because they’re lonely or have broken up with a partner and aren’t helping themselves out by not making change in themselves is what it seems in this comment section, but just remember, getting a girlfriend/boyfriend won’t cure your loneliness, the relationship won’t last if it’s aimed because of that and it’ll just make you worse once it ends because if you can’t be independent, what is the reason for another woman or man to catch an eye at you with no value for yourself, the only advice I can create with my experience is to just get your shit together and go Jim, find your goals, ambitions, your drive and your purpose, more hard work and changing your mindset to I want a girl/guy, to I want success, we can all do it guys, I believe in all of you!
Not trying to be a simp or a needy guy but I'd definitely love to experience something like this , not because of how good it would fulfill the ego but rather because I would like to feel some real love of someone. Having that thought that you are literally connected with her/him and you bond as one person. No having remorse or agony to talk about things you really feel.
Careful with this desire though, I was like this until my ex became my ex, she knew how to reel me in just as good as she knew when to destroy me, and she kept repeating this process because I didn't want to let go of the sweet person she was half the time .. when I finally had enough and left I was done. I ignore her calls, ignore her texts, she probably would be like this if I picked up. Trust me, you don't really want this, have your boundaries and protect your heart, the right one will come along and not try and break it. It has been about 1 year 1,5 years since she left me, her mother did not approve of me solely because of my skin color, this is going to sound like one of those cliches "Do not be racist and treat everyone fairly" we are all starting to get tired of but this was something I had never experienced before. I am a stand-up lad but getting into that relationship with her was selfish, it did not start off as a relationship where I loved the person I was with but it started off as a way to make myself feel better.
I guess reading everyone down here in the comments talking about how they lost a loved one or got dumped inspired me to finally open up about this, and sometimes it takes a total stranger to open up to.
Even though it was her mother who finally cut us off in the end it was bound to happen along the road, I was not ready for anything serious I just wanted to be loved. When you get into a relationship it is no longer about you, it is about the both of you and I had yet to realize that simple fact. Did I love her? Yes, I did, in the end, it hurt more like anything I could have imagined and more, took a time to get over a relationship that honestly was not even that long (Maybe 3 months) but she was the person my world revolved around for a long time and so it was the other way around, but we were both too young and I was certainly not ready for something serious.
Niss if you are reading this (which I highly doubt) I want you to know that I do not blame you for anything that happened and that I do not blame you for going through with your mothers request to cut me off. I was scared of the attachment and scared of where it might have taken me. As for your mother, I'm sure she was only doing what she thought was right for you. I also would like you to know that I am well and I hope you are too.

Then slowly she became too scared of really wanting him not to ever be gone like her father (I believe) and she fucked another dude in the bar and let her bf know immediately. He left her of course. The song her dad lived went on display and remind her of her dad and why she's so fucked up and then this scene happened. She confessed why and then they got back together at the end. Her aunt was also the reason why she's fucked up because her aunt tried to steal her from her dad and caused his death then they took her in as their daughter and raised her in such horrible mental health condition (but they're wealthy).

I've read lots of motivational books, got into the best shape of my life, learned to play guitar, started tutoring math, learned a new language (well am still learning it) got into a second martial art, made some money, and so on. I don't know what pushed me to keep going, maybe it was anger, or some twisted sense of vengefulness, trying to be better for her, but without her...
I dunno man, now 1 year later I rewatched this video and I didn't feel a thing, except pride that I overcame my demons. I see that no matter how hard it may seem in the moment, whovever you are out there, you will get through whatever you're going through.

I was always the breadwinner even after I lost my job. Rather than take accountability for himself not being where he wanted to be he instead said I made him too comfortable.

I did the dumping even though I love him. I was unhappy in that relationship. His family made it their life's mission to hate me for no reason. I can't marry into something like that. I'm not gonna bring children into a family that hates them for being the race that they are. I'm not going to bring children into a family that is petty enough to hurt them because they hate me. I grew up with that and it's really, really damaging.

I got ghosted in December 2019 then dumped in January 2020 after being 3 years into a relationship. The sudden rush of overwhelming emotions of pain, anger, sadness left deep scar in me. When I try to move forward, I'm scared to get rejected and experience those horrible emotions again so I've confineded myself into a state where I grief in solitude as happiness is a luxury that has a string of sadness attached to it that I cannot afford.
Mostly everyone wants love because they’re lonely or have broken up with a partner and aren’t helping themselves out by not making change in themselves is what it seems in this comment section, but just remember, getting a girlfriend/boyfriend won’t cure your loneliness, the relationship won’t last if it’s aimed because of that and it’ll just make you worse once it ends because if you can’t be independent, what is the reason for another woman or man to catch an eye at you with no value for yourself, the only advice I can create with my experience is to just get your shit together and go Jim, find your goals, ambitions, your drive and your purpose, more hard work and changing your mindset to I want a girl/guy, to I want success, we can all do it guys, I believe in all of you!
Not trying to be a simp or a needy guy but I'd definitely love to experience something like this , not because of how good it would fulfill the ego but rather because I would like to feel some real love of someone. Having that thought that you are literally connected with her/him and you bond as one person. No having remorse or agony to talk about things you really feel.

Careful with this desire though, I was like this until my ex became my ex, she knew how to reel me in just as good as she knew when to destroy me, and she kept repeating this process because I didn't want to let go of the sweet person she was half the time .. when I finally had enough and left I was done. I ignore her calls, ignore her texts, she probably would be like this if I picked up. Trust me, you don't really want this, have your boundaries and protect your heart, the right one will come along and not try and break it. Someone who is worthy of your affection should never look this remorseful of how they treated you.
I've been rejected by someone whom I really like last week. She told me that she can never reciprocate the feelings that I have for her. And that really sucks. It makes me feel ugly and depressed. But I know most of the time the people that we like don't like us back. I do hope someday she'll be happy with someone whom she admires and loves.
People come and people go. But to love that 1 person who was the one and to lose them. That type of pain destroys you in a way words can’t really describe.
