      Wow, Can't believe I created this in 2009. Now you have me feeling old:) Fortunately many of these tools are still the same!

    Even though this is an older version of Photoshop I still use this video to show students the basics of the Clone Stamp (which has not changed that much). It is an effective video because it shows how to clone out and retouch a background with nuances similar to what you would find with skin, fabric and other surfaces. Thank you.

    Thank you very much for this tutorial ♥ How can I pin the anchor point of the clone stamp so no need to return to this point every time I need to clone a tiny small area in my pic??!!

    why does the clone tool positive sign have to follow around. makes it aggravating when it clones something you didn't want by following.

    Maybe they use to have an 'alt key' on the macs, but on my new mac laptop, there is no alt key. There is option. command. control. shift... NOT AN ALT KEY

    • @RaymePastore
      @RaymePastore  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The alt key is the option key on a Mac. Many Macs say Alt on the Option key. In many other countries other than the US, it only says Alt. Just depends and they change it around all of the time so there is no one size fits all.

    When u make videos, you need to start from scratch please..open a file and go from there...what happens if you get the box that pops up saying "could not user the stamp because the area to clone has not been defined..." if you're going to make vids please make them thorough and then people will subscribe. These questions must be addressed...just a tip.

      That just means you've either skipped the step where you press Alt and click to select an area from which to clone or you're not on the right layer.

      Chelsea Ahlgrim no. it means the person is just beginning with Photoshop and doesn't even know how to do those simple steps. I know this because I'm a beginner as well.
