cool...the only problem is that, judging by the space between parked cars, It uses even more space than "human" parking.... and that it might get "crowdie" if large number of people(in large supermarket or mall garages) would want to park and leave parking at the same time... even 5-10 people on "drive-in" and 5-10 people on "drive-out" would cause a several minutes long cues. doubt that this would make customers happy...
we have multi level parking here too using automatic parking system , waiting time is too long to retrieve the car , if there is too many cars want to park at the same time its take 10 to 20 min per car .Just think what happen if 10 cars at the same time .If you left your phone in the car then good luck ! all over again

Actually, you can get twice the density due to the elimination of driving lanes.
