Are ENTJs good for INFPs

- Are entj and infp personality types compatible? Are they good for long term relationships? Make note, ANY PERSONALITY type can get along if they learn to live with each other but some personality types have a head start.
That being said, it IS totally possible for ENTJs and INFPs to have a relationship and it be successful. This is from my INFP pov having been in a relationship with a college-aged ENTJ. - บันเทิง
As an INFP i do feel when somebody is manipulating me or somebody. So im very aware when somebody does that to me, but i can tolerate it if its not done with bad inent. Especially if its helping me as a person. But i will let them know to not get it twisted. Just because im tolerating it doesn’t mean im easy to take advantage off. The moment you take advantage off me I’m gone.

Very interesting video. Personally, I think a healthy ENTJ would never manipulate a person they love and would actually fight tooth and nail for their hopes and dreams. However, sadly, as an ENTJ, most other ENTJ's I have encountered were a bunch of arrogant jerks.
They are amazing people but can be a bit much for sensitive types who want a little more freedom

my boyfriend is an entj and i am an infp, personally i dont find him manipulative. he comes across as rude and arrogant sometimes but i know him well enough to see past it. i know that when hes trying to help me it comes from a place of care but unfortunately sometimes when he tries to fix the problem right away i get shy and push it away instead of saying “hey, can you please just listen to this problem im having?” proper communication and maturity in these relationships is to be worked on and nurtured is all im trying to say
I'm an INFP-T and my husband of 10 years is ENTJ. We have gone through it all. Separation and making amends. We got married too quickly before we got to know one another more. But we are here now, trying to help each other through life and we have 3 kids. We are a very loving family who want our kids to learn and grow and love one another and reach their goals in life. I get along well with my Mother in law and Father on law. And same for him with my parents. My mother in law is ESFJ-A. She really encourages me in a way that not many other personality types can. My best friend is an INTJ. My other best friend I think she may have been ESFP. She's in Heaven now.

Infp/entj relationships definitely seem to be the wild ride types that’s fun in the beginning but quickly becomes tiresome.
Im infp a married to a entj-t man. The only reason were still together is our will to power thru and our shared values. Its not a great match up with inexperienced or immature individuals. My husband and i have come a long way from where we started. And yes his ability to know when to let me feel, is the only thing keeping us together. I have an ENTJ who really sees me and accepts my emotions even when he doesn’t understand them. Ive done a lot of work to understand him as well, and i dont want to make a lot of decisions. So were perfect ❤ the shared values thing is key, because i can trust in all his decisions even when i don’t understand them. Personality types are only a tool to help us understand our subconscious self, but they dont have to define us. If you care about someone, you will put ur ego aside
Nice job on this video. The ENTJ needs to be accomplished enough to not NEED to solve so much, and mature/healthy and have intentionally worked to develop their Fi. The INFP needs to have crafted significant Te (their aspiration) and to be mature/healthy enough to not have unreasonable feelings expectations, and not too disorderly in their physical space. Get those correct, and the type dynamics could be exceptional, especially if male ENTJ and female INFP, with fantastic conversation and chemistry.

I'm an ENTJ I have an INFP friend. What I've found is that I have to be hands off and respect their space. Having to aware of social cues. Because I would overwhelm her if I let myself.

Basically, it depends on each other values and principles. If they didn't share the same, so it doesn't gonna work. It's same for others types too.
Edit: I have an entj classmates in highschool and she's super fun. We share same interests. Our circle are me an infp, she an entj, an infj, an entp, and an intj (probably). I miss them when we still together.

The way you use the word "manipulate" is the definition of "influence". Manipulation is covert, not overt, so it leads to win-lose situations. There's always a loser with manipulation. You can understand this is usually not the best for the room. 😉
No we dont argue we evaluate if something is achivable or not with our Te(rationale) and if its not we tell you so you dont get disapointed later
For Example: if someone tells me she wants to be an unicorn and I say its not possible its not me trying to bring you down or argue its me warning you so you wont get disapointed later in life because than you wont be able to choose another goal.

I cant agree more!! Me and my best friend are both INFPs and my friend got a new very close friend who is an ENTJ.. I know friendship isnt the same thing as being in a relationship however your description suits our situation so well... her ENTJ friend doesnt respect any of her bounderies or she doesnt understand why she needs to be alone from the time to time.. her ENTJ friend totally manipulates her and everyone around her.. she claims what she wants and my friend doesnt seem to mind it at all..
Im not saying ENTJs are bad people but in my case its so true what you said about INFPs dont like it when the people they are close to are getting manipulated..
My boyfriend is an INTJ... and as you said he wants to fix me and my problems as well because thats the way he tries to help.. but at least he accepts my bounderies and my needs of being alone from time to time
In my experience, no, not compatible. As an INFP, the constant domineering, manipulation, and lack of sensitivity was unsustainable. I'm happily committed to an INTJ now. MUCH better. In fact, ideal.

When he loses that he is lost completely, forever a beast. Which is why he is EXTREMELY protective of it.
That’s what Belle represents to him. Hope. The possibility to change and remain in touch with that part of him that keeps him human. That’s how I conceptualize the ENTJ soft spot for INFP. They are our tiny Fi in human form. They represent beauty, sensitivity, and love- the things that are at times easily lost to us. But we need them to stay anchored. Or else we become nothing but a heartless beast. Or worse, an ENTJ meme.

I have a suggestion. It would be cool to know your age! So maybe next time you make a video like this one,that talks about compatibility, you should put your age and the age of whomever you are talking about. I think that's also highly relevant.
My boyfriend don't think that he have problem,he see problem more in me being hyper sensitive,i am infp-t 4w5 and HSP and epileptic,my bf entj-a 8w(don't remember) he is harsh in conversation when he is angry and very controlling,when i get wake up,try me to learn and fix me.When i am after 45 with histerics end call,because i can't take it anymore. He thing that i am wrong and he is ok,i am tired with this emotional ups and down. But 4 phone calls after each other i don't feel love,i feel judgment and control . He do not undestends that i can't stand it everytime. He even said me painful things and it hurts a lot.

I just finished reading a manhwa with an INFP x ENTJ pairing and let me tell you their relationship was so painful and the ENTJ was manipulative af even though he genuinely loved the INFP and meanwhile, the INFP was very much aware of the ENTJ's manipulation but he still decided to overlook it. Anyway, by the end of the story after going through a lot of hellish experiences they changed for the better and eventually gave up on their toxicity and got a well deserved happy ending.
In conclusion, now I kinda like the INFP x ENTJ pairing but at the same time as an aromantic asexual INFP i would only want to be just friends with other ENTJs

Think manipulation can be learned skill. The core of the action would be eithics or morals. What others have accepted or not. Person doing the manipulation would need to be retrained in their thinking to not do what they been doing. So judgements of the person. What is good or not. The rules and how to apply.

Infps can still match up. Other types being Enfp, Intp, Entp, Esfj and Isfj. Intj and Infj can work on occasion but not always. Most common marriage pairing is with Isfj.
For us ideal match is INTP
As an ENTJ, I’ve heard people say INTP, but personally, I think ISFJs can be a bit more grounding and comforting
