Check out this video I did. It depends on thinks like how long ago those happened, the circumstances, and proof of rehabilitation (different person now than you were then - that kind of thing). This is general information only. th-cam.com/video/pACQGnz8ekc/w-d-xo.html
Every case has to be looked at in its entirety. Rehabilitation factors will be looked at. Here is a video I did on that. If you need more information, and are in CALIFORNIA or ARIZONA where we are licensed to practice law, call us. th-cam.com/video/pACQGnz8ekc/w-d-xo.html
Great video. Thanks. Was wondering if I could ask a question - I had a misdemeanor 17 years ago, that I had expunged. I am now in the process of getting my California real estate license. Should I attach my expungement when I check “yes I’ve been convicted?” Or what would be the best course of action to not getting denied my state license? Thanks for your time!
Hello steve. Love your videos. It gives me hope. Quick question. I have committed a marijuana sales felony in 2010 and ived been clean after all that. Is that somehow related to the job description to get a real estate license. Just wanted to know before I invest money and time on getting a license. Thank you.
@@Invisible_Difference lol you're wrong because 1 it's in california. Weed laws are not as serious and 2 I got my license already. Now go play paralegal somewhere else.
@@ALPHAPRINTSLA Congratulations on getting your license. California would definitely be one of the states that cares least (only a few states have recreational). Nothing about what I said was wrong. To most states, it's a big deal (especially ones people are moving to right now - CA is #1 in outbound migration).
Steve, what if you were convicted of a felony for Burglary, but reduced it to a misdemeanor and then later got it expunged? Would this qualify for me being able to receive a regular non restricted BRE License? Thank you. P.S- This conviction happened when I was 18 and now at 21, I just got it expunged 4 months ago.

This counts as a crime of moral turpitude, which is one of the types of crimes that looks really bad on paper to them.
