Used to work for tech support at cable company (internet, TV, phone)
Fortunately enough, my company was one of those that actually cares about its customers to some extent.
Read a ton of horror stories, lived through some particularly touching ones. One customer changed phone numbers because they changed areas. Thing is, changing phone numbers clears your old voicemail.
Both of these are usually not big deals. For that one 87 year old lady, it certainly was.
I worked with 4 different departments so we could reinstate her line temporarily at her old address so one of her friends could get a recorder and get that one message her son left her before dying abroad saved somewhere so she could listen to it again.
We managed to do it. I had to get on a separate line given to me by my supervisor so that one call wouldn't ruin my calls-per-hour stats for that day, but we did it. To this day, the story still warms my heart.

Your story is a lot more positive than mine. Speaking as someone who once did over the phone tech support for a large cell phone provider, all I have stories of are just one awful experience after the other. Glad I'm out of that place and am in a better place (relatively speaking) but hearing stories like that isn't always fun.
Reminder regarding the question about 2 hero cards: Both Zul'Jin and DK Rexxar were run in a legitimate Meta deck in the past for the same reason. Zul'Jin has an insane Battlecry and Rexxar has an insane Hero Power
My favourite deck ever is Rhok’delar hunter, and that deck wouldn’t be nearly as good if both of those weren’t included.
I just came back after not playing since spell'jin was viable. Can I still play that deck or will I get rofl stomped?
quest rogue was definitely around 50% winrate but it was an enormously polarizing deck, which is why people wanted it nerfed. it warped the meta far more than other decks have

21:00 I think the nerfs for the rogue quest weren’t solely based on winrate, could have been on how polarizing some matchups were and how unfun it was most of the time, same thing as turtle mage, not a very high winrate across many ranks, but it shouldn’t be a thing lol
The term you're looking for is degenerate. Degenerate decks basically make the game come down to either beating it or losing to it, even if it's not that strong. In fact, it's usually when it's around the middle of the pack or better that it becomes a problem for players.
Yeah but turtle mage was legit a mistake. They probably didn’t think about the interaction. Quest rogue was a card, no interaction, fully intended, so I think they nerfed it cause it feels very op. Both power and perception of how powerful a deck is (even if it’s not that powerful statistically speaking) are very important to the game developers (the second one may be the most important btw) so it’s a pretty valid reason to nerf a deck. Now a days we have a lot of things that just feels stronger (like secret mage) so it’s not a problem anymore.

Jez, I ain't even from the USA but feels like I am. I just had that conversation with my ISP about plugging and unplugging my router and they do that all the time when I call them. The best part of all of that there is only one ISP in the whole country XD (smiling through the pain)
If you're relying on an Internet connection for your business, you should probably look into leasing a line straight to your house. You'll get much higher upload speeds, very high uptime SLA and (usually) much better customer support. Of course this comes at the price of more money but its something to consider.
That guys comment about jaraxxus and galakrond in the same deck gave me an idea. Roffle you should build a deck where you try to change heroes as many times as possible. I have no clue what it would look like honestly but I bet it would be awful 😂

Keep in mind at the time of pre nerfs caverns it was also pre nerf Patches. It was a pretty bonkers time and cubelock was in meta too. It was just such a FAST deck.
Honestly I really respect the Hearthstone devs for giving every single classic core set card for free, it’s causing so many bugs, and they probably knew that, but they went through with it anyways, and I respect that
Also tip in case anyone can’t figure out how to disenchant their old copies of cards that are now core set (ex: preparation, brawl, shield slam), set collection to show all cards and it should show both the core card and the one you crafted, just click both and see which one can be disenchanted
And I pay ~$25 (depending on us dollar exchange rate) for 300 Mbps down and 30 Mbps up 😁 (Poland yay). And the price also includes ~120 TV channels plus HBO.

I think something a number of people forget about un’goro quest rogue is that it was a hard deck to play so a number of people with very bad winrates brought down the average of those who actually knew how to pilot the deck to near 65% winrate.
Oh also it killed diversity, by stomping out control and other combo decks, but that’s pretty irrelevant, that’s what top tier decks do

The 50% winrate wass with everyone gunning for it, which definitely indicates a problem if you still have an above average winrate. It was a pretty oppressive deck I remember, and it had a super stale play pattern. Also doesn't account for skill in piloting the deck. Comparing how everyone uses a deck isn't really a great indicator of its actual power. I know more than a few streamers had 50-55% winrate with it.
Roffle, move to Finland to get 100 Mb/sec down and up for under 30€/month or 500 for under 50€, I'd be able to catch some streams as well so its clearly a win-win situation :D

@@silvsilvsilv No no, you're absolutely right on the money there. Our internet is abysmal for how much we pay for. Constant outages, latency, throttling, and other nightmares for 70+ dollars (sometimes with package deals) is stupidly expensive for what we get.

Sounds like u need a better isp. I live in a fly over state my internet is FREE (if it wasnt it would be 90 including my modem) and is gig down and up (tho bc of the lower quality lines it averages 7 to 800 )
There are only two options in my region (as is the case for a lot of the U.S.) and the alternative is actually much worse.

For growing an audience, some things I recommend doing are jumping on some popular game, preferably one you like, and making content of it on YT and then, without being too pushy like those bots or Axxl(who is not a bot but is annoying) advertising on things like Discord and Reddit. For Discord, what you do is join the official discord server or big fan server of the game, and play with members of the discord server and advertise yourself there. It is much easier to slip it in conversations than you think, and as for Reddit, posts can work or just comments that explain what the person is thinking or asking. You can do more talked about things, just note that there will be competition. Something else you can do is use words that YT likes and get yourself into recommended. Things like CAPS and key words such as what game you are playing help. Finally, you are selling yourself. Sure, you can get clicks with some tips, and that is arguably the hardest part, but being entertaining is just as hard. Get feedback from friends if you can. Try making and watching your own streams, and then seeing how long until you get bored. You are a good teacher to yourself, but this is subjective, so make sure to get other opinions too. Hope I could help with this wall of text.

Hope you wont be dissappointed as he is still not good, just no longer absolute trash tier. As you can see in the video, Jaraxxus contributed absolutely nothing to any of these victories, the few 6/6s in game 1 were mostly irrelevant because the Druid defeated himself by making one gigantic misplay after another (if they reach proper late game they will summon 2-3 Jade Golems with twice the stats of the Infernos for less Mana) and in all other games Roffle won by simply being mostly Galakrond Warlock (heavy midgame board pressure). His real late game, as in regular Warlock decks, was Rustwix. In other words youre better off to either craft a Rustwix/Bloodreaver style control deck or an aggro-midgame Galakrond Warlock deck than crafting Jaraxxus. Vanilla 6/6 is just not state of the art anymore and 9 Mana do nothing will kill you a lot of the time too.

Lol, in Russia we pay something about 10 dollars for a home internet (Speed is about 14-15 MB) and I pay 4 dollars for personal unlimited internet on my phone (The speed is the same)
