We absolutely love our Wonka LE that we ordered from Flipnout and agree it belongs in top 10 most underrated. This game just makes you happy to play it. It shoots different than anything else we have, and gives you a piece of your childhood back every time you play. The light show is nut-tingling.

This review spot on! Exactly how I feel about it. In the frustration department; no mention of the “death target”. When you try to shoot the factory ramp, miss, and it bounces stdm. Get’s me more worked up than the pop-drain😅

Zach you know I love to blow it up on my Wonka LE. You both are correct on the total brutality that it can throw your way. Zach & Greg there are many mini wizard modes in this game you only named a few so keep blowing it up and you will find them all. GREAT REVIEW ZACH AND GREG! I would have liked a Wonka but wasnt ready to flip the switch. When GNR was announced, I got the greenlight and put an order in for the LE. Still waiting for it to get to Australia.
Couldn’t resist, purchased an LE from the November 2021 bartch running the new 2.03 code. I know people say a game is “Bolted to the Floor” but this game is “Welded to the Floor” in my house. What an incredible masterpiece it is . Pat Lawlor killed it again.

@@wishiwasarockstr There is no pro, there is SE, LE and CE Only difference is the Wonkavator and painted wireforms and topper...I had the standard and loved it...Wonka is an awesome pin

Not sure I can justify the purchase, but this machine is simply amazing! My favorite movie since I was a young kid! Would put my home arcade over the top, but… Need the Christmas bonus for this to happen. Thank you for great video.
I don't know if you've done this already. But I'd like to see your review of Pinball Arcade. Which is virtual pinball tables of real pinball machines. I have many tables on it as I don't have pinball arcades nearby. Though when I'm out of town where some pinball arcades are at, I do try and stop by if I have time. Their all day passes of like $10 are pretty cheap considering these things were a quarter or fifty-cents per play back in the day.

Well I cant comment on most of your ratings. Because I hardly play my Wonka LE. I don't want to wear it out.. Its like buying a Lambo and you don't want to drive it because you fear that rock chip. I just sit in front of my Wonka eating candy bars and grinning ear to ear Seriously lol.. it just makes me smile.... one of my dream pins.. Will be the last pinball machine I sell from my collection and I will chain myself to the pinball machine when the buyer comes to pick it up.... As a kid I would watch Willy Wonka over and over and over... So creepy, dark, but imaginative.. it just has that something about it.. NOW if we can get someone to make a JAWS, Friday the 13th or Evil Dead production game... Yes I'm stuck in the 80's :) Sight unseen take my money...
The rules seem crazy convoluted! I can’t imagine trying to figure that out. Seemed clunky to me when I played/tried it. Absolute dream theme for sure, but I just prefer Dialed-In for playability, approachability, and general fun.
Its funny that you said it feels like when your blowing up the the game it feels like it might catch on fire. The one I bought from you did!! The I/O board burnt out and the factory above the upper left flipper started billowing smoke! After months of working with JJP, I had to bring it up to Indy to get fixed. 500 bucks later, I'm putting it up for sale. Definitely a fun game but does get frustratingly repetitive trying to "blow it up".
I enjoyed this game when i got an opportunity to play it.. wish i had enough time on it to figure out the code .. but its definitely a fun game I really enjoyed it
Great review.... I've had the le for a while now and u hit the nail on the head about it making a person angry lol. I'll b playing and not knowing the old lady has gotten home from work and I'll find her behind me just laughing at my cursing and crazy actions while playing this pin. Ahh good times and a great machine that many people really need to give a chance and stop hating on little nitpicks.

Gorgeous pinball . A great movie as well. Watching the movie on a nice oled TV on blu ray or hopefully 4k soon On surround sound is great experience But not as great as playing this pinball machine.

Agree 110% missing a shoot is like instant death sense and that Target is there for that purpose only 😊
I played this on location and honestly, I loved it. I’d really love to have this, it’s definitely an awesome machine.
After a few years of anticipation I finally found one. Those instant dead zones were a surprise even after knowing about them for years.

For such a colorful game, the black side blades are really jarring. Needs mirror or art package IMO
