Thank you very much for the video, I have followed your steps and straight forward I removed the front bumper and installed a new grill on my Charger. Guys whoever is planing on doing this it is so easy? I have never done it before and I was scared to do it during the whole process of removing stuff, but nothing to be scared off, just please make sure you got a car jack, two jack stands, trim removal tool. You definitely want to remove the wheels, even then that undercarriage plastic is pain in then ass. I just want to add one thing about this tutorial, undercarriage below the engine you do want to take all of the trim nails but you do not need to remove 4 screws he pointed, just remove first 2, because the other two are holding the plastic that is not connected to the bumper at. You will give yourself just extra two steps taking that plastic off and putting it back in for no reason. Other than that, great video and thank you again
Lu’s Clues I haven’t had any issues with side marker light cables I would just pull it down and without any force it would come off. Unlike fog lights you have to pull the red plastic back before pulling the cable m.

Does anyone know if all everything is the same throughout the trims mounting wise? I have a basic SE that the middle of the fascia is sagging down and need it replaced. I figured if I’m replacing it, if I can, I’d put a Sportier looking bumper on it. Try to make it similar to a GT. I also need to do the same to my damaged Rear bumper fascia.

I’m calling it the Dodge Grimlin It’s a 2010 Dodge Avenger: - Adding the 2016 Dodge Charger headlights. - A hell cat style bumper that is going to be shaped and molded to fit the avenger - adding a 423 hp v6 engine. - re arranging the battery location - updating the computer - adding back up camera - a 3-d printed mold of the charger side aesthetic - fwd to rwd conversion
Where did you learn to do this? Ive been looking into buying a salvage/wrecked Dodge Charger and i was going to repair it. Is there some comprehensive guide out there on how to Change/Remove/Replace certain parts such as the bumper/door/frame/hood etc
Charity 392 just placed it almost right under the front door handles. I would recommend going to ZL1 add-ons website and at the very least getting a jacking pad to save your pinch welds. I tore mine all up from jacking the car up and down on them.

Have you found a cheaper alternative to the Brembo rotors? The cost of replacing those is the one thing that scares me away from a Dynamics package Scat Pack or Daytona 392.
Replacement rings I have seen for around $900 for 2 fronts. That's as good of a price as I have found. Don't plan on putting anything smaller than a 20" up front, and still have to be careful buying rims/fitment. Are they worth it though? yes

Feel unlucky, every video I watched said the bolts underneath wasn't tight. Mine must've been assembled by Hercules. I was able to use an ally key as a handle n it worked great.

@@pistolgrip70x A challenger is different than a charger. You can’t just change the splitter that’s part of the front bumper without changing the entire front bumper on the charger.

@@KnightsGarage The two bolts that are way deep further under the fender that attach the front cover. Three on each side. two of them were easy. one was very unfriendly on each I tried so hard to get them out. I finally was able to use a torx 25 on the driver side bolt and a 10 mm 1/4 drive socket on the passenger side. And all this while tearing up my arms and hands. You just did not show how to get them out, you only showed where they were. Which was helpful, but for an ammetuer like me...Dammnn. Your video helped me out. I am not upset, just wish there was more detail on how to get the tough ones out. I was able to replace both lights. Thanks..
@@danomano1423 with the wheels off and the inner fender pulled out. I just used a quarter inch drive ratchet with a 10 mm socket along with a 10 mm wrench. I want to say I broke it loose with a wrench and then took it on out with the ratchet. But this video is a few years old so I can not remember totally.

I bought a 2015 Charger RT and it didn't have the front bumper splash guard. I see your video and it helped me take off my bumper, I am wondering if that splash guard is ONE PIECE or if it is two pieces. It would be great if you can get back to me. Thanks
What are you calling the splashguard? Are you talking about the plastic underpinning that connects from the front bumper and cover the old pan and everything?

@@KnightsGarage I've seen your video many times to look at the (underbelly as you call it in the video) and I noticed that there was an underbelly piece left behind on the floor and there is another bumper splash guard left on the bumper. Are there two different pieces for the car?
Ramiro Govea you would have to get one for a 2015 and up. The body changed in 2015. I don’t know about the R/T but I’m fairly sure the scats are three separate parts if you need the entire thing. I would go to the dealer with the VIN and ask then for a price on them, the ask the to print it out. Then you will have your part numbers to look for elsewhere.

too late now, but if you take an extra 10-15 min total (for both sides not each)and remove the fender liners...than it's gravy to reach hardware and connectors...either way, you crushed it
Joe Durso with the tire out of the way I didn’t see a need to remove the entire liner. Everything was easy to get to. But I do see what you are saying.

Lu’s Clues If I remember correctly they look and operate just like the clips for the plugs on the fog lights.
Lu’s Clues I haven’t had any issues with side marker light cables I would just pull it down and without any force it would come off. Unlike fog lights you have to pull the red plastic back before pulling the cable m.

No. Just a crash bar/bumper support.

Bolts inside hood at both corner edges may be easier to manipulate by using a star bit rather than a socket with extensions

GA08GT no. These rotors seem good tho. I plan on painting the hat black with the G2 kit and either gold or red on the calipers.

Wouldn’t be bad. Follow this process and you can easily access all the plastics where they clip into the back of the bumper.

I used a wrench on the top black bolt by the headlight and a small ratchet on the one bottom that You have to get to run the inner fender well

Has anyone tried this that has the Adaptive Driving sensor on the front? Does that need to be disconnected as well?
You would need to unplug that to remove the bumper from the car.

You can’t just change that it’s part of the bumper and can’t be seen unless you’re under the car.

Shoot I don’t even remember. I bought them years ago at an autozone I believe. I would have to look at them to see how many tons They are.
I did not take the tires off when I did mine
you can do it, but it is easier to get to all the bolts to remove the bumper with the wheels off.

Use a screwdriver on the tabs. Much easier
"This is the cover.... I need the bumper removal vieo. I pulled 8 bolts off and it won't come off. Used a dead blow and a pry bar.

Only R/T's that have the mopar aftermarket intake, the T/A or the daytona have an open air filter from the factory. Not all R/T's come with it.
