    Why don’t you have any of the bumper shock absorbers? Are that not really needed?

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do have them on. I show it at the end of the video.

    @SpeedGarage, Is the lower grill a separate piece or is it integrated with the fog light housing?

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a separate piece. If I remember correctly it’s just clipped on. It’s been so long that I’ve had the bumper off but it should just be on clips and it’s separate from the fog lights.

    Great tutorial. I'll be doing this to finish the install of my hellcat Charger intake system.

    Think I might tackle this project thanks to your vids. Not including all of your test fitting, what would you say the total cost is?

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Deno The ABS plastic is 4'x8' 3/16" and that costs $100. You might find it cheaper somewhere else but that's what I paid. Than the hardware and supporting rods your looking around $30-$40 depending what kind you get. I'd say no more than $150.

    Hey brother. I want to convert my RT front bumper to an SRT bumper. Does the black plastic piece (with all the rivet screws) that sits on the top of the bumper, detach from the actual white bumper? It looks like it does, just trying to get my ducks in a row. Thank you.

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On the SRT bumper yes that piece comes off.

    • @XxAviciiLevels
      @XxAviciiLevels 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SpeedGarage awesome thank you, is it just clips and bolts? I see the piece at the bottom comes off as well. Appreciate the help!

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s just clips and that’s it. Bottom piece is clips and small bolts.

  • @AbeTheRock
    @AbeTheRock 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you know what the size of the bolts are under the bumper?

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I remember correctly it’s a size 8 socket. It’s been a while since I’ve done it but when you lift your car you’ll be able to easily see them.

    Looking at doing the 2019 grille when they come out! How hard does that look to remove from the front bumper?

      I highly doubt it unless someone custom fits it for you.

    Great vid, I would like to make my own front spoiler as well as the side skirts. To have them done it's to expensive. I tried looking up the company that you used but can not find them. Would you happen to have a website or phone number for them. Thank for any and all of your help.

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +spidey197012 Are you looking for the company that sells the front splitter or the company that sells the material?

    • @spidey197012
      @spidey197012 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SpeedGarage I'm looking for the company that sells the material, so I can make my own front splitter and side skirts.

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +spidey197012 well they are here local and don’t ship. After the accident I changed the material to ACM. It stands for Aluminum Composite Material. Doesn’t warp in the heat and a lot easer to cut it. U can order it on amazon or eBay.

      Because it’s a 60k car lol I love dodge but the interior needs a major upgrade

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Lemont Newsom and you still can't tell the difference? A car that's 50-60k is not going to have the best quality material.

    • @mrirv5707
      @mrirv5707 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m just saying I know how they were built I even have went in person with the owners and see for myself

    • @SpeedGarage
      @SpeedGarage  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Lemont Newsom compared to other cars I've owned it's cheap interior. That's the only negative thing about Dodge Charger. Other than that I love the car.

  • @mrirv5707
    @mrirv5707 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not cheap plastic or leather look it up before u talk about something that u don’t know about

      Lemont Newsom lol you obviously haven't seen what the real stuff looks and feels like. Go look inside the Dodge Ram Limited edition and you'll see for yourself.
