To me I feel like this theme captures the anticipation of waiting for war. Almost like all the guys in the dam are waiting so tensed for action to happen at any time. Kind of makes me think all the times in history a bloodcurdling war was nervously being anticipated in a standoff, and the soldiers are all just waiting to unload all that adrenaline, knowing very well they are going to die. Napoleon and Brits. French and Germans. Germans and Soviets. My mind all races back to today, as Russia may declare war now that the Beijing Olympics are about to end today and have found their casus belli out of the recent "terror attacks". Ukraine is nervously waiting under the sword of Damocles.
Imagine two snarling dogs fighting over a curve of bone, perhaps the rib of their master, long-dead. It'll be a pitched battle, that's a certainty. Perhaps the greatest battle the Earth has seen since the human race nearly made itself extinct.
I like how even during "regular" gameplay (i.e before the actual Second Battle of Hoover Dam) the theme for the Hoover Dam is tense and frantic, perfectly highlighting the NCR's position - they're running out of time as Caesar sharpens his knives across the river and must fortify their position and prepare for the upcoming battle. Perfectly exemplifies how the Dam and the battle for who controls it is what will drive the fate of 3 entire nations.

personally I liked choosing the NCR most. They are outstretched and undermanned, but they're trying. The Legion is the embodiment of things I hate as I person, and I think mister house is an old man lost in an old time.

They kinda had it coming. They were corrupt and made a lot of enemies. The NCR was in decline by the time of New Vegas. Eventually they would've suffered a heavy blow if it wasn't by Caesar's Legion. And no, the Fallout TV show didn't wipe out the NCR. They're a lot bigger than you think. We'll most likely see them more in season 2. And before anyone says anything, I don't hate the NCR. I usually side with them when I play New Vegas.
This is the tamest battle theme i ever heard cosidering how this battle was fraimed as a clash of titans, the fight of the century, the war to end all wars, an all or nothing fight and is the peak of all the building and quests u do and characters u meet
