I teared up when you started talking about refreshing the application page night and day waiting for that status to change because this has been my situation for the past month and it is so unbelievably frustrating and nerve wracking. Then I straight up bawled when you started talking about getting the call. You got your golden call on my birthday! I don't know why but this felt like a sign to me. I want this job more than anything I've ever wanted in my life. I really hope I can make it.

Hey Sophie, i just finished watching your video and got very emotional at the end of it. I have the exact same situation with you, applied right away when they just opened the vacancy(around August) and for months i hadn't heard anything back from them. I was refreshing the page night and day and finally in 2022 i successfully completed the online interview and long form application, and I have my final interview coming in two weeks!! I am so excited and really hope that it will be all worth waiting that long. Thank you for sharing your story and inspiring me!! wish you all the best xx

I've been rejected in the interview for 3 times. I got to attend some training courses for flight attendant preparatory cause I would say I'm not an expert in professional grooming specifically make-up and hairstyle, plus I don't know any of the basic deportment, etiquette and professional airlines personality development. Even though I'm not coming from a hospitality and customer service background, I deserve to take a chance to go for the emirates' interview. I'm so excited when you shared your personal journey, thank you! Love from Malaysia...

Quick question
Are they going to employ 3000 new cabin crews as stated on their website ? Or, only 3000 will be eligible for assessment day out of the number of people who applied worldwide. Then, the employment will be based on the number of people who did well (not necessary 3000, maybe less)
I need this information to boost my morale because I also applied 🥺❤️

Hi Sophie, I have just applied like 2 days back. I'm super super nervous about the status. Exactly like you said about checking the website every now and then, that has been my day and night so far. I'm literally panicking, I'm an Indian and 22 years old. Can you help me with some tips and tricks to crack the interview and mainly what are the required words on your CV that will get you pass the ATS? I have worked in customer for 2 companies so far and still working with 1 but I'm still very scared and I didn't know that I'm a Emirates wannabe until yesterday. It would be great if you could help me in some way because genuinely, your patience and personality inspired me in just a video. I'm surely subscribing to your channel right away.

you get to travel to multiple different countries in a month. Places id never even think of travelling to due to to expensive or too far to travel. Meet new people every time I go to work.
Its not for everyone but for many its the best lifestyle you could have ☺️

I know this video is like 7 months old, buuuuut. I have really considered applying for a role with emirates, but I'm just shy of the 160cm minimum requirement (I'd still apply to see) but moving away from family absolutely petrifies me. If I was to apply for a cabin crew it would probably be in Australia, or in the UK where I'm orginally from as most of my family is back there. How did you feel when you first moved away?
Moving away from my family was the worst part, I’m such a home bird but it was the best decision I’ve never made. It’s given me so much independence and a life I would of never seen. I still speak to my family multiple times a day and fly back every now an then. Honestly try it, if you don’t like you can always leave 🥰 but once’s you get the taste to travel it’s hard to leave ahaha!
@@SophieFayHart Thought I'd update this a bit. I applied today for the open day that's happening this coming Saturday in Brisbane. However I got turned down. I don't know if it is to do with my height (I'm 2cm too short, but I can reach the 212cm) Or the pictures (It wasn't exactly a professional one, so unsure).

Yeah a lot of crew have families just like any other job 🙂 it is hard but people make it work
