Oh no Sophie , I hope your hip is feeling better and you’re not in pain anymore . It must of been so embarrassing for you to face plant the floor in front of some passengers …. I’m sure you are not the first or will be the last to fall on a plane but even so it’s not nice for you .

I was cabin crew for over 30yrs..it gets like that, it can be great, meeting people, going out etc, you also spend a lot of times in hoel rooms on your own. I watched so many films half way through..... Eating food with plastic cutlery. Bhr, went to so many places I woukd never have got and have the memories.
Im so glad i'm not the only one who is having these experiences ☺️ Its defiantly something you have to experience to fully understand ☺️

I still wish I was just tall enough to work for emirates. I know I can work for other airlines (here in Australia, and back home in the UK), but Emirates is like the goal everyone aims for.

Hey Soph, how are you doing? I hope your hip is better now or atleast gone to see a doctor about it. When injured during work, do you go to see the airline doctor even if you dont live in the airline accommodation?
I have been wondering, do you have to have experience in working the bar or making drinks to work in the lounge? That actime drink you had in the morning,is it like a drinking yoghurt? How do you handle challenges of eating early in the mornings or late at night?

Yeah, its still sore but a lot better now. it will take time. We do, im still employed by them so I get to use all the facilities I just don't live in the accommodation ☺️

Yes, it a yoghurt drink, its some thing to line my stomach before flights as I know it can be 3/5 hours before I eat ☺️ Have a lovely weekend x

I have had them try say this to me but I am not straightening my hair for no one! They still make problems for me now but im not changing. All my application pictures I have the same hairstyle. Im sorry they did this to you. x

Your fall sounds really nasty and painful, I bet you have a wonderful nice bruise. At least your crew and couple of the guests were there to pick you back up. You defo are allowed rubbish food when you are home and even more because of your fall. Did you manage to get yourself a Greggs festive bake when you was back?

the UAE has its own currency so, I get paid in Dirhams
