    Here we are, another episode of What $1900 Per Month Gets You In Vancouver VS Toronto. A follow-up of the last episode "What $1800 Per Month Gets You In Vancouver VS Toronto". Now we've certainly covered some topics about vancouver such as; is Vancouver expensive, does vancouver cost a lot, how much does it cost to live in vancouver, does it rain a lot i vancouver, how much does an apartment cost in vancouver, should i move to vancouver, should you move to vancouver, apartment hunting vancouver, is vancouver a good place to live, what you get for $2000 rent, what you get for $1000 rent, what you get for $1500 rent, and many other topics. Today we talk about not only Vancouver, but Toronto as well. The 2 most requested cities to be seen on my channel! Let's try to answer the same type of questions, but for both cities, as people have been asking similar things; is toronto expensive, does toronto cost a lot, how much does it cost to live in toronto, does it rain a lot i toronto, how much does an apartment cost in toronto, should i move to toronto, should you move to toronto, apartment hunting toronto, is toronto a good place to live, what you get for $2000 rent, what you get for $1000 rent. Now let's take a look!!I know Canada as a whole is a highly sought after place these days for living. That's why so many people are interested and suggest these videos. The common questions I usually get and try to answer are along the lines of; Should i move to canada? should i move to canada in 2021? should i still move to canada? is canada a good place to live? is living in canada nice? is living in canada good? is canada a good place to live 2021? what you should know before moving to canada, what should i know before moving to canada? things i wish i knew before moving to canada, should i move to canada or the us? how to move to canada? how to relocate to canada? is it hard to move to canada? is rent expensive in canada? should i move to british columbia, is british colombia expensive, and more... such as;
    vancouver real estate, vancouver vs toronto, rent in vancouver, rent in toronto, moving to toronto, apartment tour 2021, vancouver bc, toronto apartment tour 1 bedroom, vancouver bc vlog.

    Downtown Toronto to downtown Pickering is 35km. Hardly just outside downtown Toronto as you claim. That’s the same distance as downtown Vancouver to downtown Langley.

      Right? Its another city/town. Forget downtown, this isn't even like Scarborough or something.

      Yes I lived near Toront for ×0 years While Pickering is nice it does not compare with the Vancouver location where I am now. There is no nightlife compared to downtown in the trendy areas that apartment would be at least $2500.0₩

    I remember coming into Vancouver one morning driving down Main St
    with the rain pouring seeing the city buildings appearing slowing nestled In the fog thinking " wow Gotham city". Been here 5 years, It's a great city with lots of character and diversity, there's something of everything here.

    While Pickering is lovely and I will always have a soft spot for it as I grew up there, hardly an equal comparison to Yaletown in Downtown Vancouver where I currently live. Both are nice apartments, but completely different neighborhoods and lifestyles.

    I grew up in Winnipeg as a child 1980 to 86, the family moved to Toronto ‘86, I moved to Vancouver 2005 to 2010, then back to Toronto 2010 to present. Canada has changed a lot in that time, I don’t think it has changed for the better in many ways. The cost of housing is the biggest drag on many people, I believe it’s a major factor to happiness and mental health.
    I was very happy living in Kits, but it started to get out of my comfort zone, you are less likely to make good decisions when stressed. Going back to Toronto was an ok decision, I have family and old friends for support, but the city is pretty depressing.

      Can't disagree the what tyou stated ^^ Sometimes now your only option is to move away, or make a lot money ...!

    • @wmellor87
      @wmellor87 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the cost of housing has made me pretty damned stressed too!🤮 Still looks like we have a money launderer problem here with those guys continually bidding up real estate prices like some kind of high stakes poker game. And of course rents follow this trend

    • @annetoronto5474
      @annetoronto5474 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wmellor87 , you are not competing on an even field, most of the money for housing is not for one family. Most of the money is grouped together from 2 or more families. You are going to have to build your own group, not only to buy a house but to make sure you have a business and job. Put together like minded family and friends, once one house is paid for buy or build another.

    Interesting though I hear Vancouver and Toronto are about even now in mid 2023. This is hard to compare as The Tornoto/Pickering apt was nicer/newer with upgraded appliances

    When did your friends lock in that price? I feel $1900 for 1 bedroom in Yaletown is on the lower end! Not saying it's impossible but def not the norm!

  • @absolutely_dope1654
    @absolutely_dope1654 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    In this video, and the other Vancouver vs Toronto video, you did show 2 apartments that were the same price, however the Vancouver apartment was downtown whereas the Toronto apartments were about 15-30 mins away from downtown. Would you get a bigger place in Vancouver for the same price if it was not downtown? If so, can you show a video about that? Love the videos.

    • @tokyogamer5825

    Could at least compared it with places in toronto like mid town where rent for 650 sqft is $1800 and right on a subway line only 12 mins from downtown.
