Thank You bob for this video, and talking to a patient with foot drop, who has been able to get back normal function, I have foot drop in my left foot due to severe cramp, I have a lot of pain, and on medication, i will try the exercises you have demonstrated. Thank You .
I have foot drop in my left foot because of the time I spent in ICU because of COVID19, Polyneuropathy. It is really hard to so those exercises while you have foot drop. Those exercises examples should be done by someone who actually have foot drop. Not by someone with full health. It is my humble opinion
I’m sorry about that Jerry, I can understand what you mean. My best intention is to give hope to people like you that you do have a chance to get bette & these are some example to follow !! Don’t give up and keep pushing forward 👍💪
@@twistashorts403 the good news is I no longer have the foot drop at all! But the bad news is that side of my body does tend to get tired more quickly when I have to walk long distances or exert more strength such as when walking on the beach. So it will never be back to 100%, but at least I am now normal in my every day life. Recovery was pretty quick for me. I only had to do physiotherapy for 6 weeks.
I would highly suggest to not give up and keep progress your rehab plan. Most of my clients think by improving their symptoms their rehab should stop. Rehab exercises can progress gradually over a 12 months or sometimes even longer 👍💪
Thank you Bob. I was looking for some excersised on this, having recently come home from having a Diskectomy to fix my foot drop from a herniated disk. Thankfully it was successful but I need to regain some strength. I am curious if this regiment would also assist at all with the herniated disk or strictly regaining some function in the foot? Thank you! 🙏🏼
Thank you for this video. After a surgery from bow leg, I started to suffer from foot drop for 6 months at least, and it's not improving, I completely feel hopeless... I need your help and advice to improve it...
Hi, I am 2 weeks post op from L4/L5 bilateral interlaminar decompression & right sided removal of superiorly migrated fragments and left sided discectomy and decompression. I have full right leg weakness pre op however post op I remain with complete foot drop. Will these exercises help/benefit me until I get referred to an NHS physiotherapist appointment/plan?
Hii sirr...plzz answer my query....My father is 57 year old...Now he is suffering from sciatica..like L3,L4,L5 disc bulges....no pain, but right foot drop is there...that too little ....Someone suggest for a keyhole surgery and someone suggests rest and physiotherapy....Can u plz tell me.....foot drop treat using physiotherapy and rest....
Hi, I have foot drop in right side but after 6 months of physiotherapy my right leg also tangling , i cant walk properly, right foot step gets up and left little tingling. Want to know RTMS could be effective or not.
I have to be honest with you, foot drop is more spinal related and specifically lumbar spine related. I haven’t seen any paper or data to show RTMS could help it !! I’ll be happy to know your injury more in details and provide you a rehab plan to follow. You can follow them if you experience foot drop. I would suggest to not wait for the NHS and get some help from private section ASAP.
Is she have numb foot or nerve damage?
