We all have access to the stars these days but this to me is more comparable to where we are sat in our prospective levels. Short answer: He didn't want to. Long answer: He didn't feel like he could play his best possible golf at the time to warrant a reason to go to Q school. He has a full challenge tour card and as they said on the video will be able to attend a few of the lower caliber european tour events next year. So improving his card status through the Q school would have been quite unlikely.
