From what I understand so far: For over 2,500 years China worshipped the same Heavenly God as in the Holy Bible. They called the Most High God of Heaven ShangDi. The Emperor and wise men knew at the eclipse 27AD that the Holy One (messiah) had died for all sins of the world. This was all recorded. Approx. 5BC gods (Tao, Buddha, Confucius) of stone & wood were introduced to Chinese ppl. Our Creator the God of Heaven loves us so it hurts Him when we rebel & make idols that have no ears to hear us. Check this... If you can cut down a tree & carve an idol then take the rest & burn it as firewood to keep you warm, how do you expect that piece of wood to do things for you, no matter how many times you bow down to it? So God sent some ppl from the west to China, to remind them the God of Heaven is still there waiting for them to come back to Him. It's amazing how wonderful our Heavenly Father is to each of us. He is patient, merciful, full of love we don't understand.
Even the Israelites rebelled against God by worshipping idols. He separated himself (divorced) from them and it was only through the Messiah Jesus Christ was he able to bring them back to him by the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord that he wants all peoples to come to the knowledge of the truth and free from sin by saving them by the Holy Ghost. I was intrigued by this and did some homework for clarification. Actually, Sinim is the land of the Persians. This was speaking of the liberation of the people before the later captivity of the Babylonians. They just didn't know "Persia" just yet. Here's your proof.. so it states to the north and West...not east. But that's not really enough proof right? Well here's the full proof.. so as we know, the old testament was written in Hebrew right?..I always thought that was where the buck stopped...I was wrong. So it turns out all of the Hebrew manuscripts that we have are on or after 900 ad. These are the Masoretic texts, the only complete oldest work that even Jews have (I don't care what they say) is from these texts via the Leningrad Codex. It turns out the Greek Septuagint is the oldest complete old testament work available...(I know...it almost sucks)..and the word used there is Persia. I always thought the Septuagint was a worthless study as one would assume for Hebrew...go to Hebrew right?...I was wrong. Turns out the Masoretic texts are littered with little mistranslations and can be unreliable at times. Believe it or not, Josephus' antiquities of the Jews is older than the Hebrew manuscripts of the Bible and in many cases sheds more light on the history (forget the dates in the books though..they are wrong..but Josephus didn't put those in there anyway.. The translator did.). Anyways, thought I'd help clear that up. Not to dismiss anything about this video of course..I think it's fascinating and I've come across some very interesting findings of emporer Guangwudi and his words on the eclipse from the time of Christ AT THE time of Christ...great stuff. Oh and I almost forgot.. The Hebrew in the Masoretic texts is a much more modern Hebrew than would have been for the say "original" manuscripts of the OT...and be careful..many of the rabbis are as bad as the christian false prophet charismatics on TV and the internet. I'm from the Navajo tribe of America. I know that in the Delaware tribal creation story they say that there was a great separation long ago...I'm wondering if this separation happened in Asia? I wonder if there are any ancient Chinese stories of a people that separated and journeyed east on there own? I went to the temple of heaven in 2007. I am not sure why he says there are no idols there. Maybe he is talking about a specific building on the grounds and maybe the other buildings were added, because there was a specific building that had no idols in it, but the rest of the buildings had all sorts of idols. The one furthest back holds the largest budda made from one piece of wood. To say it was impressive is an understatement. It felt opressive. It took me aback and made me sad to see 3 people prostrate in front of it.
I also went to visit the temple of heaven. The altar to heaven 天台 was in the middle on an elevated sort of round platform. No idols or statue there. There are however buildings inside the compound that have idols or statues inside. Probably constructed later by Buddhists, confucians, etc for their own understanding of god.

It is not true that we Chinese were never taught about those 7 things. Only a couple of those 7 points were never taught in school in my school days , but teachers cannot teach us everything in the classroom. It is up to us to read all those books, acquiring those knowledge. However, it is true that some of those details mentioned by Pastor Liu were never emphasized at all because of the academic, political and practical agendas popular in the society at that time. Among common people it is well known that 上帝 or天 as the sole God and 上帝 or天 has always been worshiped before and after Confucius, Buddha, Lao-Zi came along. When the term Orient or oriental is used..it's derived from Latin simply meaning "east" and occidental being "west". I was intrigued by this and did some homework for clarification. Actually, Sinim is the land of the Persians. This was speaking of the liberation of the people before the later captivity of the Babylonians. They just didn't know "Persia" just yet. Here's your proof.. so it states to the north and West...not east. But that's not really enough proof right? Well here's the full proof.. so as we know, the old testament was written in Hebrew right?..I always thought that was where the buck stopped...I was wrong. So it turns out all of the Hebrew manuscripts that we have are on or after 900 ad. These are the Masoretic texts, the only complete oldest work that even Jews have (I don't care what they say) is from these texts via the Leningrad Codex. It turns out the Greek Septuagint is the oldest complete old testament work available...(I know...it almost sucks)..and the word used there is Persia. I always thought the Septuagint was a worthless study as one would assume for Hebrew...go to Hebrew right?...I was wrong. Turns out the Masoretic texts are littered with little mistranslations and can be unreliable at times. Believe it or not, Josephus' antiquities of the Jews is older than the Hebrew manuscripts of the Bible and in many cases sheds more light on the history (forget the dates in the books though..they are wrong..but Josephus didn't put those in there anyway.. The translator did.). Anyways, thought I'd help clear that up. Not to dismiss anything about this video of course..I think it's fascinating and I've come across some very interesting findings of emporer Guangwudi and his words on the eclipse from the time of Christ AT THE time of Christ...great stuff. Oh and I almost forgot.. The Hebrew in the Masoretic texts is a much more modern Hebrew than would have been for the say "original" manuscripts of the OT...and be careful..many of the rabbis are as bad as the christian false prophet charismatics on TV and the internet. Theyll fool you if you haven't done your homework.

I went to the temple of heaven in 2007. I am not sure why he says there are no idols there. Maybe he is talking about a specific building on the grounds and maybe the other buildings were added, because there was a specific building that had no idols in it, but the rest of the buildings had all sorts of idols. The one furthest back holds the largest budda made from one piece of wood. To say it was impressive is an understatement. It felt opressive. It took me aback and made me sad to see 3 people prostrate in front of it.
I also went to visit the temple of heaven. The altar to heaven 天台 was in the middle on an elevated sort of round platform. No idols or statue there. There are however buildings inside the compound that have idols or statues inside. Probably constructed later by Buddhists, confucians, etc for their own understanding of god.
I am an old lady and when I was in high school in the 50's we had ancient Chinese history and also ancient Chinese civilization which allowed me to learn about the tian tai altar to heaven and that on new year day, the emperor will have some kind of ritual at the altar for a good new year.

It is not true that we Chinese were never taught about those 7 things. Only a couple of those 7 points were never taught in school in my school days , but teachers cannot teach us everything in the classroom. It is up to us to read all those books, acquiring those knowledge. However, it is true that some of those details mentioned by Pastor Liu were never emphasized at all because of the academic, political and practical agendas popular in the society at that time. Among common people it is well known that 上帝 or天 as the sole God and 上帝 or天 has always been worshiped before and after Confucius, Buddha, Lao-Zi came along. When the term Orient or oriental is used..it's derived from Latin simply meaning "east" and occidental being "west". We have in our more modern times..kind of "slanged" the term Orient or oriental as FAR east Asia..almost like a stereotype. So just so everyone knows..oriental in the Bible is usually referring to Persia and Babylon areas. The Septuagint (older than Masoretic Hebrew text so I'm sure they took the translation seriously from the more time dated original texts than we have today..translates Sinim as Persia. The reason it doesn't SAY Paras..is because Isaiah was well before the time of the writings pertaining to Persia specifically, and they were not as known to the Jews at the time.
Christians had the full Bible for 1500 years until luther came along and removed Books or added words to suit his heresies. St. John reminded actual Christians to neither add nor take away from Scripture.
But protestants do whatever. So saying there is a Bible and a Septuagint is only 500 years old. Unsurprisingly, many of the Books that luther deleted are the Wisdom
Books. They are incredibly inspired.
I am pretty sure it was Balkan peninsula people and not Romans in 200 bc. God Bless China and I am impressed with this. Also India Hindus believe everything is divine. Just like when Jesus told Moses, "I am that, I am", in the form of the burning bush.
I don't think he was the bush, inside it maybe, but I really think that isn't how it worked either, who turns into a bush to talk to someone? I'm sure it was a sign accompanying the voice of God or something more on those lines.
It was God who told Moses I am what I am.
