24:00 I got a new gaming PC this summer, so I've been playing GTA V again. I noticed in this cutscene Michael kept himself between Trevor and Jimmy the whole time. Subtle touch, but shows fatherly instinct, and just good blocking.
Yeah, that was a nice touch. It showed that despite not being the best father for his children he still cares. Granted, I do not think Trevor would try to harm either of Michael's kids ever.

Franklin didn't not actively participate in the raid on the Humane Labs center, He instead handled the truck that carried the toxin away at the end of the mission, delivering it to the sandy shores airfield.

@@MrMcMaN Yes in NY They have to kill a number of police officers before they are killed/caught by dave and the LPD at the farm. I was reffering to the cops you kill between exiting the depot and arriving at the ending cutscene in Prologue.
Guiness Walker at 12:51 the engine didn’t stop working because of bad luck, you should emphasize more on the engine being shot in turn causing it to break, hope this helps!
correction: at 46:28 you said Trevor rushed to the airport, when in reality Trevor drove to his airfield in Sandy Shores to get to North Yankton, Michael is the one that rushed to the airport.
I don't know why, but I feel like Michael was kind of inspired by and idolized Tommy Vercetti when he was a kid, taking up on his similar appearance and crimes.
The classic trilogy (GTA III, VC and SA) takes place in a different universe than GTA IV and V, so Claude, Tommy and CJ never existed in Michael’s world. I do see where you are coming from though and I think that’s a pretty good thought.
How is his appearance similar? Being white with black hair isn’t something you can control really and personally I don’t think he looks anything like Vercetti. I also don’t see how he’d look up to a drug lord but end up not being involved in the drug business whatsoever and take up heisting instead. Not to mention Tommy doesn’t exist in the hd universe
@@Imulletman12 just a personal theory based on recent events regarding the contract dlc and dialogue from gta 5 SP, i think that claude/tommy/CJ did exist in michaels world - however the events were nowhere near as precise. the HD and 3D universe intertwine a lot, however are nowhere near the exact same. same people, different stories if i had to guess

That's a reference to the Online protagonist. Basically, the "narrative" of Online (if you can call it that) initially was supposed to take place a few months to several weeks before GTA V. However, with more recent updates (starting with 2017), Online has caught up to present day, and every new update now takes place around the time it is released in real life. That explains why there are no futuristic vehicles and other ridiculous stuff in single-player. Some of the more recent updates even include references to the single-player story. For example, in The Diamond Casino Heist, Lester mentions robbing a jewelry store and the Union Depository. So yeah, Online is canon to the HD Universe (the continuity of GTA IV, Chinatown Wars, and V) to an extent.

After replaying the story mode again, after first completing it back in 2013. It becomes very apparent that Michals misery is of his own making. Thus it's difficult to take pity on the man. When hardships and misfortunes befall him.
