Hello everyone, Today, I want to talk about a topic that might seem like a small detail but makes a big difference for many users: keyboard backlighting. There are keyboards where the backlighting illuminates only the letters and symbols on the keys. This design provides a clean and organized look, avoiding distractions and focusing on functionality. It’s especially helpful and pleasant to use in dark environments. On the other hand, there are keyboards where the light bleeds around the edges of the keys. While some might find this visually appealing, I believe it’s distracting and feels less refined. It raises the question: why isn’t precise backlighting, as seen in premium laptops, more commonly used? This small detail could significantly improve the user experience and, for me, is a hallmark of good design. What do you think? Do you value precise backlighting, or doesn’t it matter to you? I’m curious to hear your opinions!
I have always thought that RGB keyboards are a bit too flashy and unnecessary, I think that the light from the screen is enough to eliminate the keyboard, and if it doesn’t, it might not be a good idea to game in such darkness in the first place, that’s just me tho
I havent personally used G16 but it was in between Legion 7i and G16 at the end I chosen this, but on paper it seems like great device. Especially OLED screen
I have them both of them at home; Legion 7i and G16 with AMD, every one have his own advantages and disadvantages. E.g. I preffere fingerprint reader, numpad and 180 screen opening on Legion...other side G16 have much batter Speakers, screen quality and trackpad (much faster card reader if you are content creator).
