Translucent materials were so needed ! Glad they added it
My D5 pro version, still on the substitute bench waiting for the AutoCAD plugin or dwg file compatibility.
D5 is disrupting the 3D industry and doing it fast, so others won't be able to catch up, clever strategy! I wasn't expecting these updates this soon. AI tools will help us a lot. Please keep doing this.

Hey Nuno. I am going to start diving into your D5 render tutorials. Lumion pricing and lack of innovation is pushing me in this direction so thanks for this video. I was just thinking the other day “I wonder when Nuno is going to come out with another D5 video”. I toyed around with D5 this past week and at half the price it’s astonishing at how dated D5 makes Lumion 2023 look. Great work Nuno.
Hey Patrick. D5 Render is a great software, but Lumion 2023 had some issues that were fixed in Lumion 2024 as well. Have you tried the new version?

Can you make a tutorial about construction phasing , with the new key frame visibility control, like they have in the d5 2.8 trailer?
The AI image enhance is huge. I was seeing people send their renders to third party sites and getting good results. Now that it can all be done there it is so much better

@@NunoSilva3d I just paid for the monthly membership of the D5 pro I think I will be using it a lot. Do you know if for the VR feature has problems with glass textures? And has a decrease in quality? I noticed these problems with the walkthroughs I make on Enscape

Do caustics get scattered around surrounding walls?
Apparently the sun caustics are not strong enough to show reflected up on walls . I asked staff about it . They said we will have to supplement with area lights if we want it to be super noticeable

2:20 i tried making spherical semi-transparent white light lamps, and it dosent really work, they still need to work on this
If you put an emissive sphere inside a frosted sphere , you will get an accurate illuminated lamp effect . I tested it this weekend . It doesn’t work if you use a D5 Omni source though
I thought path tracing was gonna drop this 2.8 update. It's been in development for a year hopefully it'll be released on 2.9 or 3.0

The path tracer? Oh wait there isn’t one. It also revs up like a jet engine on my super system. I’m not ready to return just yet to d5. I’m doing the Octane thing until then.
It's heavy on your computer?
They should concentrate more effort on textures options te get something less automatic and more flexible and under control like in Corona vray etc
