@@BrandonBLysticLee I only had one issue.. It uploaded into FL Studio... The MPC 2 will not talk to the Soft ware... Should I redo everything all over... It located the keyboard but not the MPC, during Controller Mode... I downloaded MPC Beats... Do I have to pay for the Software...?

It should work the same as the standalone app while in controller mode

you can send each pad to the FL mixer using outputs, then play the mpc software as a vst. (trigger mpc within fl as a instrument in the piano roll.) then you can mix and add effects like a reg channel. or just like the FPC. But thank you i learned something here also. i did not know you could pull audio like that and or midi. like machine. thanx. subbed. peace.

Is there a way to separate the drums from the MPC software into individual tracks on FL so you can mix/master them individually? The software is cool but I can see it turning into a mixing/mastering nightmare.
Noob here: Drag and drop isn’t working for me for some reason. I drag a sample over to a pad and it lights up, but it doesn’t load on the pad, it disappears.
You can make 808s just like that on keygroup with the mpc

for anybody experiencing this there's 2 options,
(1) Used the "File Browser tab (F)" located at the bottom left hand side to import your sound banks from where ever your drum kits are located on your computer.
(2) Allow Akai's MPC's application to communicate through Windows Defender Firewall.
Control panel > System and security > Windows defender firewall > Allow apps, & add MPC to the list.

I can’t drag the FL studio sounds in a he mpc pads but I can drag and drop the mpc sounds on the mpc pads ???
🙏how do i use mpclive2 to control my daw synths in fl? i’m trying to use mpc like we use jodi controllers, so i can HEAR serum as i’m playing it…not play an mpc sound, then drag that midi to another sound.
i’m plugged in usb 3.0. mpc track one is a synth, track 2 is midi channel out to daw. track 1 is midi sent to track 2.
all firmware is up to date.
trying to get it to work with usb. this is my mobile rig so don’t want to add midi cable + interface as already got a lot going on.
if had any advice would mean so much. akai support keeps saying their line isn’t educational. i’ve watched called & read everything possible for last week, pretty frustrated would be beyond grateful if anyone knows the answer.

There has to be a way to record directly from the Mpc into the playlist in FL.. I’ve used this method before, but would like to eliminate the drag and drop from Mpc to FL.. If anyone knows how I would appreciate the info..
Yeah, there probably is a way to set the outputs in the MPC pads to separate inputs on FL channels..maybe setting up a template would help speed that up....but I think i'd stick with the drag and drop due to not usually having over 8-12 tracks
@tslimm409 record it thru Edison just make sure you set your inputs.. you have to record it into Edison separately and you might have some hardware delay so let the the pattern play for two bars so it could catch up then use the best loop after that.. trust me this is the ONLY way to do this.. it’s crazy but everything slaps better... don’t drag and drop!! Thank me later
maybe im getting something wrong here but when i go inside the pianoroll of the MPC plugin inside of fl studio, i can normally record through fruity into the piano roll .. inside the pianoroll from the mpc plugin the sounds from the programm are on the lower notes... pads are also recognized but im not sure yet how to map the notes to the pads they are some kind of not in order...
my problem is when i recorded something inside of the mpc plugin it keeps playing the mpc plugin everytime i hit play inside of fruity... so basically export the mpc plugin as a wav and drag them in fl + deleting or muting the plugin afterwards is the only way i manage to work with it... in my opinion there should be a way to export a full mpc sequence OR track into a FL pattern OR pianoroll OR tracklist... lets hope they add a function for this in a update
You can use Midi outs in FL they will directly import midi from FL studio as patterns.... The patterns may still need a few minor adjustments and not accurate but this should help speed up the creation process and inspire creativity... Because the main problem with exporting them as audio is that you can't change the original snare sample or hhat sample or drum sample... You can't change the samples because its already in audio format.
Hey bro, I figured it out a few days ago. Lmk if you have questions. I did the work below and created a template to make things faster.
1. Setup your audio outs in your MPC VST in fl studio by clicking the gear and then the processing tab. Click auto map outputs (you can change this if you need to). This will send the different MPC outputs to different mixer channels. You can have up to 16
2. In your MPC Software assign the pad or keygroups to different outputs (Out 1,2 Out 3,4 etc).
3. Go to your playlist. On each playlist track click track mode, audio track, and match it up with the mixer channel (which is already matched to your MPC audio output).
4. When you are ready to track out, click the arm disk recording button on each corresponding mixer track you wish to track out. Click record in FL Studio (make sure it is set for audio). All of your tracks are tracked out at once. This also records the "dry" signal so you can mix in FL studio's mixer as you go, track out, and continue your mix.
5. Make sure you go to an empty sequence on your MPC after you've tracked out so everything is not playing via the MPC AND the audio stems.
I did the same steps that you just show me and it doesn't work at all.
I even deleted my entire computer and reinstall FL Studio 20. Including the VST plugin mpc live 2 and I still can not found the MPC software on FL Studio 20
I get how to drag audio, but when I try to drag MIDI from MPC into FL, no action happens. Any suggestions?

Dope videos question can I use my sounds like vsts for my MPC and Export it to FL studio as well as the drums if so how will that. Work cause I will have to switch tracks on my MPC cuz you can't use the Mpc twice as a vsts on FL Studio correct ? So is it possible that I can use the drums and my vst sounds inside of the MPC. & run through it FL Studio? Plz get back with me 🙏🏿thanks

I have the MPC live Mk 2 and it says it can connect to Ableton live 10. is it the same process for Ableton? or do you know how to do the Ableton Connect
It’s the same in Ableton..just open MPC as a plug-in and it syncs the same way.

On MPC TOUCH in GRID VIEW mode, shrink and stretch LINE on the touchscreen ? Will all notes always be aligned exactly on the grid ? And editing only on a PC turns out.

I got my MPC loaded as a plug-in but when I try to drag a sample from FL into the MCP pad it doesn’t load at all like where u dragged it with no problem . Anyone know how to fix this?

How do you get the mpc to control record . My transports don’t seem to be linked , I have to press record from FL Studio. I changed the hardware in the mpc to plugin still not allowing me to use my transports
Mine isn’t linked completely...i have to press play in FL Studio and it plays the MPC too..then, i use the record/overdub buttons to arm or disarm the MPC Software recording..it doesn’t have any effect on FL Studio

You are allowed to do what you want lol...it would kind of defeat the purpose in FL though...unless you started the beat in MPC/Stand-alone and want to move the midi to FL to change the sound of that melody, etc
