Whenever I felt like I was sympathizing too much with the jailers, I just remembered her. I didn't know what the Stranger was in for during my first playthrough and I quickly forgot why the Voice said she was in there, but the clear suffering she was put through and her acting as a weapon against her will fueled me for some of the later boss fights.
I can't believe I was dumb enough not to charge up my dodges. I'd keep getting hit by her desperation attack at the end of the fight, and losing all my lives.
Anyone notice how strange it is that once she frees her arms, she doesn't immediately think of freeing her legs till later on? Also the ones who put her there conveniently put a scythe on her scooter too?

I started playing Furi two days ago, and I just defeated her. Honestly, I was expecting mc to cut her headpiece's wires off and free her from the head piece, I didn't noticed that thing was her head. Is the mc mute or something? Why isn't he reacting or saying anything?
I always wondered if the laser on her face was always there, like its a part of whatever alien race she belongs to, or if that was added in after they turned her into a weapon and jail warden.
No, it's not a chastity belt, it says she's an amalgamation of organic and mechanical parts. So we can assume at least some of these are part of her body (maybe?)
Haven't played it myself, but a lot of it looks somewhat easy imo. Bosses have huge lifebars, and even your strongest attacks do little damage. Parrying can restore massive health, so most of the difficulty in these fights looks like attrition. Then again, I'm only seeing the bosses and not level design.
In the medium difficulty mode it is pretty difficult already. The way to master the game is just to memorize all attack patterns of the bosses. Every time you clear one health bar of the boss, his attack pattern changes so you will always have to learn new rhythms of when to parry his attacks and how to dodge certain abilities of them. Im at the 5th boss after 3 Hours and the second one was already a nice challenge. If it is too easy for you, you can switch the difficulty so that it adapts to your skill level

The thing that can be kind of frustrating is that each boss has multiple phases, so you have to get good at each phase. The last phase is usually some insane shit where you have to dodge a sea of projectiles or something and if you die on this you have to start all over again of course. I really recommend the game though if you like a bit of a challenge.

i really dislike this boss fight, it just seems very half-assed, all of the difficulty spikes are just artificial speed bumps, dodge wall, dodge beam, dodge homing energy, slashslashslash, rinse and repeat. You can really tell someone with low IQ made this boss lvl.

Bit late, but you can charge your dash, just like your shots and melees, to jump further. Helps a lot. That, or pretty tight timings
