- Furi is a twitchy action game centered entirely around boss fights. The first boss, The Jailer, combines tense, close-quarters battles with waves of bullet-hell-like projectiles.

Actually, if you go a year or so barefoot, the bottoms of your feet get pretty tough. As long as you aren't walking across sun-baked concrete, it's actually pretty okay.
I thought this boss was really challenging at first.But now I'm on the 7th boss and this guy is a piece of cake...

Would have been cooler if you learn all the things you needed from the first two masks, but the third mask flips it on it's head with difficulty and you are just implementing what you learned. Personally, 8 minutes is too long for such simple looking concepts for you to get out of the tutorial.

The Jailer's just the _first_ boss?! The intense atmosphere, his menacing deep voice and great dialogue makes it sound like he's the FINAL boss.

When the jailer first sees him after he gets released from his cell, it's almost like they couldn't decide what his tough-guy fighting words should be, so they just had him say everything they could think of in sequence.

I love the recent colour schemes everyone's using on games
its actually awesome to watch you play. It's like watching a baby learn to walk. such a beautiful and natural process of learning. the last 3 parts make me proud, you played so well near the end!
The visuals and soundtrack is badass! I know people say this game is super difficult but that’s what makes games like these so rewarding when you win!

What is the bosses' design based off of? I know that Naruto's six paths form has a similar design and so does Enel from One Piece. (orbs behind back and a staff)

This is pretty damn cool. Interesting way of mixing bullet-hell mechanics into the combat, and there is quite the variety of moves like parrying, teleporting, both regular and charged sword and gun attacks. While I dislike the pointlessly glowing clothing/armor, the art style is very interesting mix of anime and the futuristic, and reminds me of Afro Samurai. The music is also great, the kind I would seek out and keep listening to after playing the game.
So when is this coming out for the PS2 and the GameCube?
This is like the lovechild between samurai jack and Afro samurai. LOVE IT. And that soundtrack? *Kreygasm*

This tutorial boss was harder than the final boss in most games. Super fun and rewarding combat system though!

The sound and VO seems good but those cut scenes hurt me
Are the blips under your healthbar lives or just more health because if it's the latter, that's a lot of health for a game about understanding opponents and not getting hit. Even the base amount seems pretty high considering you can get your life back.
They are lives, if you take a life off the boss you gain one life and in hard mode it works vice versa I believe
when you die the boss regains it's health

+Haruhara Haruko Wouldn't assume that. Little things like that are probably low on the list, after stuff which effects gameplay. Plus the hair clips because it sways when he moves, which is a feature. Bound to look weird sometimes, pretty cool other times. I'd actually be surprised if they did anything about it.

Charge Slash reminds me of Asbel Lhant's fighting style from Tales of Graces F. Also Jetstream Sam from Metal Gear Rising.

I found out what that style of fighting is called. Something along the lines of Iaijutsu, that sheathed blade style of fighting.

I need help I can't do charged shots at the tutorial but my R2 is working fine. Please help! - Note: This is the only game where my R2 doesn't seem to work
Hold it down super hard, I think it's a bug
Reset the button layout. Change R2 to R1. To do this on PS4, go to settings > accessibility > button layout. This happened to me so I remapped my controller, hope this helps!
