    I'm thinking of doing this with my squier bullet mustang neck. I'll have to sand the poly coat off first but I think its gonna look way better than the pale neck it is now.

      320 grit works great to remove the poly. I don't go "grittier" than that because 320 doesn't take it off too fast. It gives you time to see when you get into the real wood.

      Also, wear a dust mask. You don't want that poly dust in your lungs.

    Looks great. I prefer all natural vs. plastic yellow. How does it feel to play? Does it have a Smooth Satin finish ?

      It is a natural satin feel if you lightly sand it with fine grain sand paper after it completely cures.

      @@michael_caz_nyc You're welcome. Also, the beauty of Tru-Oil is if you scratch it or ding it, you can just apply more right over the old.
