  • Having heating issues with your Maker Select printer from Monoprice? If it's overheating, the thermistor may be the problem.
The wires on the heater cartridge and thermistor can be broken easily, so be careful!
This tutorial will also help you replace the same part on a Wanhao Duplicator i3, of which the MSv2 is a clone.
If you need a replacement thermistor, they are available on our website.

Nicely done DIY. When new thermistor plugged in unit reads constant 140C. Bad board?

And how about the white piece in between (min 1.33) ? I accidentally burned my transistor without it, but I am struggling to find a replacement for it. Do you guys know how its called and where I can get it? Thanks in advanced

While changing filament, ran into clog issue, fixed clog, but while removing clog from nozzle accidently removed plastic, now have problem printing. Does this mean i need to buy new extruder. Monoprice 2v

hello ,i find the infos and i test it , it's NTC 100K spacialy design for plastic printers , because common 100K are normaly used under 150° C , and we usualy use at 214° for PLA . i think it's not the best choice they done !! it's economical to made but not reliable !! at these temp a K type or PT is better . thanks

Can you make your own thermistor from scratch because it appears its just the ends of 2 cables making contact with the block

@@fredysamayoa8042 hello , you think it's wires are diretly in contact , but no , the Nt c 100 K IS VERY SMALL parts , maybee 1,5 mm diameter , when it fail the value of impedance is not good and the pcb can't know the real température . i changed many times a lot of kind , , on printer it's 100K ntc like this fr.aliexpress.com/item/32819816264.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.729063dag8TqUP&algo_pvid=ebd55a0d-61dd-4ae1-8560-12572fb723f8&algo_expid=ebd55a0d-61dd-4ae1-8560-12572fb723f8-25&btsid=0bb0624316182253351894693e9f73&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ the transparent resin is small , but look inside the black parts , that's is the NTC
