I plugged the heater into a kill-a-watt meter today. Based on our particular usage and electricity costs, the Envi will cost approximately $12 per month to operate if I leave it on 24/7.
@@socomon69 About 95 square feet. It's a 100+ year old building in a room with north facing windows, but still I thought it would have made a larger difference.
how did you put the lower right corner screw in? i just finished installing it withOUT that darn screw! it's 5am in the morning, took me forever to figure out and finally had to give up. seems work ok. thanks for sharing!
mbiker7 thank you. I mentioned a lay flat plug which I think they went to the following year, but yes, i agree a side plug like you describe would do the job as well for earlier models that don't have a lay flat plug from the factory.
Thanks for the note! I wish I knew it when I was installing. Now it's just ten second's job to place it in the hooks. By the way, did you notice any strong plastic fume/odor when it was first turned on? Mine emits odor that fills up an entire room quickly on high setting. Not sure if it was internally overheated or defective.
LOL - I didn't get that screw in either. It has been a while since I made this video and I cannot recall now if I mentioned that or not. That part of the design is no good and I called eheat about it at the time to tell them. They should have left a small hole in front cover to pass the screwdriver through or ????

Great Video. Thank you from SW Iowa
Your home must be very well insulated, as mine barely made a difference in temperature at all. I ended up returning it.
How big of a room?

You are welcome. It is a good unit provided you use it within its intended purpose.

No, I do not recall any strong odors from mine, though that is not uncommon with brand new space heaters in general.
At 1:53 you said you wished it had a side plug. You can get side plug up at Menards called hug a plug for at $6 they are black or white

Dude. You are awesome at reviewing stuff. Well done.
Thanks!
How has it effected your electric bill?

Is your heater still working? Thanks in advance.

@@socomon69 thanks for the quick response how many years did you have it running?
@@Ricky-eo5ym i don't recall for certain, maybe 4-5 years.
@@socomon69 Perfect thank you have a great day.
what temp does it keep the room?
Jacob Freeman too many variables to be able to answer that.
Can you out this heater on a timer ?
Christian Ayala I don't see any reason why not provided you use a heavy duty timer rated for 14 amps or more.
