heey, can you make a guide video on these topics: - Setting up a mp game (mods and settings) - how to consistently get golden on the first two eras (especially in the second) love your videos ❤
Actually it's alright in the second but in my recent games i had like 17/18 score for the first golden age and i have no idea what i have to do differently to get it
You are a good player, I can tell. I am a speed runner on single player, but I actually play amped up game mode, the civilizations expanded mod, and deity++ and beyond. I have many sub 150 science and sub 100 culture games under my belt on standard speed. Either way, I enjoy the videos, but I know multiplayer isn't for me lol. Something about that one video where someone sent 20 helicopters armies into your land in a single turn feels wayyyyy too stressful.
started getting into multiplayer because of these videos. seriously struggling hitting the second and third golden ages consistently though since im so zoned in on sim citying. any chance you could do a guide for mid-game golden ages at some point? love the vids bro
You can actually see them at 0:38. I've been deliberately leaving in like two seconds of the loading screen in every vod I upload so that the civ abilities are visible at the beginning of the game.
Another great game, another great watch. A video idea (unrequested, I know, but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the matter): are there any parts of Civ6 ffa that you think are currently underexplored? Obviously there are some staples of the meta (magnus internals, free inquiry, etc) but are there any things that *could* be strong if people spent the time to understand how they would optimise them. Keep up the good work, dude.
Herson we need a civ spot light on Teddy bullmoose. I’m always seeing people use him to pretty great effect in mh multiplayer games but idk how to use him to his most optimal BBG and multiplayer capacity 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Noob here- why does he focus on encampements? does bbg buff them or is there something op about them that i'm not aware of, emergency plan if someone does attack?
I have never played on BBG but Germany can built a lot of districts, and encampments allow to produce/buy Corps and Armies outright, thats why i like to built them.
You always want at least one encampment for certain boosts like Gunpowder (build an armoury), Ballistics (build two forts). Secondly because you need the armoury to produce military engineers who can build railroads + you can use the encampment to project for great general points in case you wanna war someone. All these reasons exist in vanilla as well.
Ok so I finally got around to the part where he’s mass building encampments and the reasons I provided don’t really explain why he’s mass building them. In this instance, I think it’s simply process of elimination. He’s already +5 amenities or more in his cities so entertainment complexes would be useless, two culture civs are actively projecting for great writers etc which makes them theatre districts not great, absolutely no reason to build holy sites. So he’s just building encampments for more production in his cities, since encampment buildings give production. The passive great general points are also nice to have. To clarify: You would usually go entertainment complex at this point in the game
He want at least 3 encampment since it boost fascism and each military academies in BBG provides oil, military engineer also build railroad, and it helps a lot with moving tanks and artillery if needed
I cannot figure out why that hansa have +12. 2 commercial + 4 1 dam + 2 city hall + 1 I don't know if comercial city center city hall dams again counts as districts? and that's why it is again + 5?
it's an aqueduct, not a dam, i think. But it's +2 nonetheless. additional +2 for the adjacent districts (industrial zones get +1/2 for every adjacent district). I can't help with the last +3 though. Maybe there is a city states or something that gives an additional bonus?
+4 from two adjacent commercial hubs +2 from one adjacent aqueduct +1 from adjacent gov plaza +2 from adjacent districts Hansas also gain +1 adjacency from every resource next to them. +1 from the sheep the city center is settled on (settling on a bonus resource does not remove it) +2 from strategic resources which ended up being revealed under the other districts after placing them. You can actually deduce from the adjacency on the surrounding industrial zones that the strategic resources have to be under the aqueduct and the southern commercial hub. Total = +12
some techs require it to boost gunpowder needs an amory, balistics needs 2 forts which get built by a military engineer which you need an amory for, military engineers also build railroads etc
Brazil let you take that barb camp to be nice, then you kill him, and now you’re talking about reporting him because he can’t defend himself??? What is wrong with you? Do you have no self-awareness?
That second city was ridiculous. Super worth the +3 turns. 17 pop at the end.
it fueled all of his early-mid game science as well
the intro is actually so funny
Herson is pushing 40 Aware
Really? He sounds like a teenager
I heard he turned 56 yesterday. I just hope he doesn't leave us soon🕊🕊
@megamansiofan he did cough a lot on older videos. It's like he has some chronic respiratory disease
these 3 hour games are always such bangers 🔥🔥

3rd golden not so important. Need to make sure you hit the 2ed or you'll probably be irrel 1st kinda hit or miss and depends a lot on your scouting
amazing video keep it up
@1:17:41 one city 69+ prod before turn 69 👍
Looking at the chat, the Ottomans really have to move their god damn units already!
Sweet herson thanks for the vid
Wish you would show the civs abilities at the beginning of the game! It’s nice for people who don’t play the mod.

the latest patch also really favours him because of the science nerfs. The strategy is spawn, cry because almost none of your tiles are +2
Hmmm I was sad you didn't try and high roll with the great bath 🤭. I know it's not very good by it can be pretty fun.
why did you stop doing civ spotlights :(
Presumably because he wants to play the game more
Cuz he hasn’t played enough of BBG 5.9 to put out spotlights yet I think
Must be pumping out them hamburgers

Are barb spawn rates nerfed in bbg or something?
They run a mod where barb camps don't spawn after turn 1. So initial barbs okay. Although relobbies can cause more to spawn, that's a bug.

Did they not nerf naval promotions?
idk but naval is still bonkers like the first for naval melee is +7 against naval so both offense and defense

What is the biggest buff/nerf a civ/leader received in BBG compared to base game in your opinion?
it's gotta be Babylon, obviously

how do you turn off barbarians?
Advance settings when creating a game and there is a setting how barbarians behave. Select "no barbarians".

I'm from Hamburg. It's spelled Hamburg. Has nothing to do with ground beef. Heidelberg is a complete different thing. 😂
Can we get a leader tier list video? Maybe as a collab or with a mate?
Is that vanilla version w/o Gathering Storm addon?
its gathering storm without gamemodes but with a balance mod (better balanced game) short BBG
Hello! I'm a new subscriber, but I think that if you put pins in the map, you would do more production
pins are disabled for multiplayer bc they cause lag
Also, not enough time. It's compeditive
are you not allowed to join your allies war in CPL?
Depends on the house rules and CPL rules
