Would really appreciate a video explaining how to consistently gain era score through the different eras while in different types of ages (dark, normal, gold)
You should do more of the civ spot lights for the best civs right now. Great videos man keep it up ive been telling everyone i smoke on multiplayer about you now haha
The discord chatter is super annoying, like the bickering side bit is ok but it would be really nice to make the discord quieter or muted in the recording. Otherwise I really enjoy the content.
Yo, is there any reason you don't use map pins? I'm curious whether it's just personal preference or if it doesn't react well with multiplayer. My thought was that you could potentially use it to front load some thinking for once APM becomes more important, or for late-game stuff. Having watched some of your other games there were times where you misplaced a district or forgot to unlock/ build a wonder where using pins might have helped. Keep up the good work dude, I'm glad I've found another person to watch play Civ who I enjoy.
I like the faith from appeals from menelik, chop all rainforests and plop a lot of the unique down for turbo faith . The only issue is hills kinda mess with this
Hey can anyone explain why it he took pilgrimage over lay ministry? If he builds a holy site in each city he’d get 2 faith for every city with both beliefs, and then the bonus culture on top. Its not like he is going to convert many other cities to his religion right? Am i missing something?
Hey Herson - I don't know much about bbg so sorry if this is obvious, but why aren't military alliances more common? Is having the extra science and culture just so much more worth it that spending one of your two alliances on it just isn't worth it? Or is there some kind of change that alters / removes it in bbg?
@@benchetritadrien6761 Ah, thanks - that would explain why I couldn't see it on the BBG changelog. You're right, looks like they completely disabled them actually - I did think they seemed a bit strong!
that settler was faith purchased on turn 48 and you can't move units the turn you purchase them. On turn 49, he moves the settler 2 tiles towards the location he wants to settle. On turn 50, he can only move 1 tile closer due to the river blocking his path. On turn 51 he notices there is a Georgian scout on the other side of the river, and if he crosses the river there is a risk that the scout will steal the settler, so he moves the horseman to create a formation with the settler to protect it from the scout (but since he had to move the horseman to the settler, it doesn't have enough movement to cross the river). On turn 52 the Settler and horseman cross the river and the settler does not have enough movement to settle the city on this turn. The city is settled on turn 53. If Herson was clairvoyant, or had more time to focus on the settler he could have moved the horseman sooner to create the formation earlier and settled the city 1 turn sooner.
Gotta stop watching the Herson stream so I can watch the Herson youtube videos
First thing Herson says is "I have never played this Civ in my life."
Banger incoming.

Some people lag in multiplayer when people use pins. So they are disabled in CPL FFA by default
@@mammaletto Cool, thanks for letting me know. =]
More pins = more lag. People having a few pins is normally fine. Some people intentionally lag the game by placing map tacks on every tile
@@thephelddagrif2907 thats ridiculous that its server sided and isnt client side lol
Can you do a Friedrich Barbarossa spotlight?
Or is he too weak?
can you do a spain highlight?

Also pilgrimage doesn't get converted in science and culture because the faith isn't generated in the cities, but lay ministry does!
I'll resubscribe again 😂

In FFAs, military alliance is disabled. I think its a CPL rule more than a BBG thing.

Menelik guide when?
Does anyone know why he didn't found a city with the settler in so many turns? 1:14:11 the settler near the cities: LARIBELLA AND JIMMA
