@@doubtful_seer yeah that a bigger issue for sure. The class divide is growing, and with that, businesses that were in small towns either have to close, or move to an urbanized area. And when enough businesses move, the people will move with it. The idea of an "American" small town is getting its life slowly squeezed from it, it's just not sustainable. Cities are growing and wealth is moving. Is there a balance between keeping small towns/rural communities alive, while also sustaining a big city? Japan, the netherlands, and Germany have been able to do it.

Don’t feel too sad. I live in the us and our city’s last actual arcade closed in the early 90s. The one I grew up with was inside another business, and even it closed about… oh god… 20 years ago. Oh _god…._
@@doubtful_seer Theyre coming back in a way, a few have popped up around chicago. I think its gotten old enough to be cool again.
@@dogshake the large cities always get the fun stuff. The larger cities in my state have had arcades open and some that never shut down. It's just us small cities and towns that never get or keep anything good. Hell, we can't even keep a good coffee shop.
@@dogshake all I know is that I’m already being priced out of being able to afford to live in the small city I was born in. Not difficult when I have to survive on eight thousand dollars per year because I’m disabled though. The people who move to the larger towns are the lucky ones. There are so many who get left behind because we can’t afford to move.
Now we definitely got to see you do the machines that you do over the camera and then they mail you the prize app thingy!!
I quite liked the video! when he talked about touring virtual spaces I was reminded of an old video of his where he explored this weird adult mmo and in a sense, it was almost a tour of a virtual space as he described all these weird people and places, overall I really liked this video and I hope to see more like it, great content as usual!
Everytime I see Ian has a new vid I’m like “it’s about god damn time!”
