- Whelp, the new microphone kinda sucks, but it was windy as all get up.. Back to the tried and true old mic is is boiz and squirrels. Back to the old. Anywhoodles the early season walleye stuff far away has been LIGHT OUT, but.. Close to home its kinda been poopy. So I went back to my roots, probably almost anyones roots, and went pond fishing for an easy day out. These ponds are different though. They have the usual suspects like bluegills and bass, but.. They also have some "exotics" as far as Nebraska ponds are concerned. Lets go poke em.

Another banger of a video. I understand that cold feeling. Was 41° out today and I got my line wet and got into some slab craps. You get warmer as you catch more, but with a 15+ mph wind it kinda doesn't matter. But a cold day of catching fish is still worth it
And speaking of Bill Dance, I would pay double to see a bloopers video! Keep up the good shows I never miss them.

Last summer my reliable crappie fishing spot was all but dead. My buddy and I still fished it once in a while to see if they had come back. Then one evening my buddy hooked a Muskie on a crappie jig. He didn't have a big enough net to land a Muskie but it did answer our question about why there weren't many crappie there anymore.
Now it all makes sense lol

I fought an anchor rope for 15 minutes once. My buddy cut off a piece of that rope and mounted it on a nice plaque for me. That's what friends are for.

I remember getting on the crappie bite in a similar situation. All I had was a garbage bag in my truck. Made a windproof breaker under my sweater and sweat my ass off while freezing my ass off.

When did you grow out of it?
I was diagnosed with A.D.D and restless leg syndrome in 2nd grade. Being born with it is something you don’t outgrow. Maybe that’s what it is like a tic or something.

I've never been ice fishing in my life so I honestly like the ice fishing videos more than the open water. I still watch regardless but definitely don't make us wait until next year.

I have hooked two tiger muskies but didn’t land either. Got to see them but one cut the line and the other spit the hook. It was fun but disappointing.
