    Wanting to do this on my wife's 99 burb. For the rear axle I will get the axle from a NBS suburban. That way it will have 4 wheel disc brakes. Then it's getting a 6.2diesel and a th400. Was in junkyard today. Saw a 2500 van with the 6lug rotors. Of course the gears in my head started turning

    • @crockettsummers42
      @crockettsummers42 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Be careful with van versus truck..pretty sure the 6 lug vans were mainly like 03 up chevy express/ possibly astro van as well as gmc counterparts. These vans would have hub assembles not older style rotor/bearing setup. Parts won't work if that's the case. 99 burb is older gm platform

    So.... issue im running into is the 20 inch wheels i have wont fit on the rotors. I got the rotors and bought the wheels off a buddy. Tonight i wanted to make sure the rotors would fit the wheels and the center hole on the wheels are too small for the rotor to fit flush against the wheel. The wheels came off a 2005 gmc yukon denali so i figured theyd work. And if i do spacers i dont think theirs gonna be much thread holding the wheels on. Any ideas?
