This was great! I hadn’t thought of making placemats to match the runners! Have you tried sewing the ends of the runner folded in the opposite direction? It gives an entirely different look. I like both ways! Beautiful choice of fabrics, too!
Perhaps, but it also takes less storage space. I’m one of those people who don’t have hardly any storage for decorations. Although batting will also help absorb spills. 😆
You could and it would look good. Just keep in mind that if you are folding the ends together that it will be double the bulk in that spot. Thank you for watching.
I don’t remember and I don’t have it anymore. But you can make them as long and wide as you want. If you do a wide one the end point will be big, so you might want to consider regular borders on something like that. I didn’t realize that until later. But that one was probably only about 42” long or so. It was for a small table.
What a fun project! Thanks for a clear, concise tutorial.

How long does the table runner end up being? I love this idea! I'm going to try it but put batting in it and quilt it.
It can be as long as you want. I dont remember the measurements but I mentioned it in the video. Thank you.
@@nanasjourney2022 I heard it toward the end...I asked too early. Thank you for getting back to me.
I made years ago with batting and quilted it it was a Little hard putting stuff on it I suggest use Flannel for your quilt sandwich.🙏
These are so pretty. Great tutorial. I can do this😊 Thank you Have a Blessed Day Oh I Subscribed and hit the 🛎
Thanks and you’re welcome. I’m sure your project will be great. 😊
Your project is really cute and easy but since it lacks batting and quilting it really looks homemade,

If I want my runner 3 1/2 feet long how much fabric di I need of each piece
You take the length and width of what you want and add ½” to each.
Beautiful
Thank you
Love these. Are there any measurements?
The measurements are mentioned towards the end of the video
Would look cute with a small white border between the prints And with batting.
Yes it would.
beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Has anyone added the batting to the runner? I’m thinking of using a very thin batting. Looking for any tips! Thank you.
You could and it would look good. Just keep in mind that if you are folding the ends together that it will be double the bulk in that spot. Thank you for watching.
@ I used Hobbs Theramore ultra thin batting and it worked great. I’ve made 2 so far.
I bet it looks good. 😊
