自分はベトナムに10年以上住んでいるからよく理解できるのだが、日本と比較してベトナムは自然災害が無い（もちろんゼロではない）に等しい。そのため、自然災害に対する備えが日本と比べると極端に薄く、建設中の住宅とかみたことがあるが、壁はペラペラ。鉄筋とかもいれてないのでは。トタン屋根も古い家だとまだまだ多い。
駐在仲間と冗談交じりに「震度5の地震が発生したら建物の大半は倒壊するだろうな」と話したことがあるのが、日本の建物のように耐震性が高いと、当然、このような台風による風圧にもかなり耐えられると思われる。
2:33 のようなペラペラのウィンドウ、5:48 のトタン屋根の映像とか、日本じゃありえない。
