I'm stuck on finding a rad tech program that works for me...one private program is around $40k and another i found just started their 2 year program, wont be until spring 2026! I was thinking 68p mos in military but im not sure because as of last year it's no longer JRCERT accredited and I'm not sure how much that effects getting a well paying job.

Yo! Yeah man no it’s definitely not more radiation. I mean it’s more radiation to the patient but not the tech. You have a lead door that you close and you talk to the patient from the speaker 🔈 so your safe. CT is in very high demand. If you want to work a lot to make a lot, go for it. Rad Techs are being trained easily. The hard part is getting thru xray school.

Thank you for clarifying the amount of radiation. There were a few people saying that you’re exposed to more radiation in CT than X-ray.
