It's really peaceful and inspiring to see your everyday life, with its calmness and true emotions. It's funny because I was last month in Paris (I live in Budapest, Hungary) and I wished to feel at home. I do always the same, just hanging around, discover and explore the place where I am, not prioritising the tourist's "must see, must do" things. And for Brussel sprouts and other "gassy" veggies: boil them without them lid, or if you buy them prepared, drink mint tea, eat ginger, turmenic or fennel, or consume probiotic foods, drinks (like kimchi, sauerkraut) afterwards - this will help. :)

I did my first solo trip to vancouver (Living in toronto, Canada) last year. Even though it was just in the country i had the most wonderful time! It was hard initially all the emotions and everything you experience doing things solo your first time but it got better and after the 13th day ( my last day) I was trying to figure out whats next! and now this year I am going on a one out of the country❤

welcome to NYC! leo's is great. try pop-up bagels in the west village; walk the entirety of the high line, start on west 12th where you can check out the meatpacking district/chelsea market; gallery hop (all free) in west chelsea; other end of the high line is hudson yards (maybe worth a quick spin) but there are some great food spots there that a solo diner can eat (the mercado or daily provisions). la cabra in soho (also in e.village) for coffee (but too many to name); frenchette bakery (on church) and librae (e.village) for pastries. and of course, k-town for korean food (woorijip if you want to take out).
