    We can hear the passion for helicopters and sims you have Fred. Thanks for your hard work and I look forward to both the R44 and the H125. Both fantastic helicopters, more famous than the Cabri that's for sure!

    It'll be good to see the R44 and H125 back in service again (and hopefully some of the bugs quashed). Thanks for the hard work and effort.

    Hi Fred, I just would like to say thank you for your hard work. I am a fixed wing pilot that just got really interested on rotary wing. Your work is helping me a lot. I already got my written PPH and I will start my practical in January (I am in a TDY right now).
    I hope to get your new R44 by then. All the best and happy holidays.

    I like the floats.. would be cool, if you could pop them in flight like the real thing.

    Hi just started to learn to fly helicopters.. what would you suggest use to get started. Keep with the standard inbuilt helicopter physics or use your plugin..also which helicopter is best to learn with in your opinion..

    unfortunately you can't start it, no matter which way, it's a shame if I had known that, I wouldn't have downloaded it and would have kept the version where it was

    This model has remained in beta and has not been updated in months. There are no announcements or news in discord. Perhaps the author has stopped development.

      This is freeware and I think the original developer became busy after covid. It sounds like Fred is finishing it up for us (for free). Thanks to Fred for taking this on!

      Fred Naar he’s the one talking in this video. He’s the guy that made helicopters possible in fs before Microsoft. He created airland. So he’s fixing up the 44 now that the original guys are busy.

      @@petergiese4652 Yes, thank you. I've already read the information about him. But I read that he is doing his own project and there will be an R44, but totally different. How do you know that he will continue to do this model from RSP?

    • @petergiese4652
      @petergiese4652 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah I didn’t know he was working on another r44 but I’m sure it would be awesome. Rotorsim put out a video 3-4 months ago talking about a transition, but I think the video is down now. In the video, rotorsim said that Fred/airland we’re kind of picking up where they left off. Haven’t heard anything more than that.
