- Who wondered if a pilgrimage #trek route would become an all-year-round trek? A trek that starts from Sari village of #uttarakhand ends at the Chandrashila top. This trek is famous for many things and not only among trekkers. First of all, it leads to Tungnath, the highest Shivlinga of India. It is also one of the legendary 12 Jyotirlinga. Then, the Deoriatal Lake and its world-famous Chaukhambha reflections. The summit Chandrashila Top is known for its unique moonrise view. The summit point is visible right before you start the trek. The entire trail is laid with Rhododendrons that gradually change color from red to pink to white. So, here we have elaborated on the charms of the Chopta Chandrashila trek. i went there in early jan 2020 and it was fantastic...
It looks so different in winter, visited in March 2020, with lead Chahat, meenakshi. Amazing experience ❤️

The day u all started from Deoriatal, when did it end ?? Which location did u stay at night after 16km trek... ???

March April is the ideal time to do Chopta Chandrashila and you can find significant amount of snow as well.

Hello Sudhanshu, possibilities of snowfall are much higher in December and January, if you want confirmed snow on the top then plan chadrashila in late December.

Hi there, for Chopta Chandrashila Trek, the requirement is that you should not have any medical conditions like heart issues, high blood pressure, asthma, etc and it is a beginner friendly trek but having a basic level of fitness makes the trek more enjoyable.

It's all depends on the snow fall, sometimes snow falls early in December, and sometimes it happens late in December.
