I took the trickle charger off my 2020 Rocket about about 4 weeks ago (had a pretty mild winter here in Missouri). I've never had any start up issues so far with it.......I do have to remember to set the date on the TFT display each spring, as the quickshifter won't work until I do.
@@OnDownTheRoadProductions Actually, I got this mixed up a bit. I have to reset the date on the TFT every spring or the Rocket will show I need to schedule Service.......for the quickshifter, every time the battery is disconnected I have to go into the TSA Shift Assist setting and change it to "Enabled" or the quickshifter won't function. Got that confused in my earlier post😋 But I've never had an issue with the bike starting up in the spring after having it on the trickle charger for 2-3 months. Hope you get this resolved easily.

Very interesting Conan on the speed shifter reset. With power the TFT will not turn on and the key fob out of range is annoying to this day.
