Border collies rip clothes and furniture when they are bored XD. My border collie puppy is pretty easy to look after. He has never drooled before, or vomited. He chases after my brother's bike though. Also, my puppy loves to meet people and dogs, he is very friendly. He loves going in the car (because we make it comfortable for him). We provide him with a doggie car seat, and some water before we leave. He has never vomited, even when he was 8 weeks old and went on a car ride to our house from a farm for a whopping 1 hour and 30 minutes! And the most wonderful thing is that we live in an apartment, and he is adjusting just fine! Border collies are not usually meant for apartments. But our wonderful, sweet border collie (his name is Teddy) is just plain amazing! So is Rea (your border collie)!
Omg I got mine too a month ago and I also live in an apartment just like you. It's true that they like to chew on everything but they a really smart. My dog, Lady learned in the first week the meaning of no :D She's less scared now of things but I'm still struggling with puppy biting.
I would nip the bike chasing asap.If he takes it to the next level and goes after cars he's liable to get hurt or killed.It's also a sign your dog is feeling stressed and isn't getting enough mental stimulation.
@@crimsonkyoko Nah he doesn't do it anymore and goes to dog parks twice a day for an hour each. He also goes for a bunch of 30 minute walks everyday, but thanks!!!!
The source of female unhappiness is : they give their puppy a treat he learns right away to sit and roll over. They give treats to their husband and he still leaves the toilet seat up.
@@minnie5301 he’s 16 months old now and an absolute whirlwind of a dog 😂👍🏻 very friendly with humans not do much with other dogs but hopefully he settles down over time 👍🏻
Ive had 2 Goldens. Perfect. No problem house training. My last SHIMMER was a perfect little girl. Could not really afford another, and always wanted a Border Collie....I got PIPER CUBS. I LOVE HER... but she is no Golden. Very different....precious....but If I had to do it again, I would get another Fluffy Monkey Golden.

6 weeks is far too young to bring home a puppy. They should be 8 weeks when you get them.
