Ehhhh....sometimes, lots of times. Remember that Border Collies are possibly the smartest dogs there are. A girlfriend I once had and I had a sheepdog (dumbest dogs!) and we got a little kitten. Well, things were going swimmingly for a few weeks, the dog loved the kitten and they played together, all adorable and all that. And then one day, the kitten was burrowing under the big dog and sneezed. In one move, the sheepdog jumped up and literally bit the cat's head off. The kitten had a broken neck and died shortly thereafter.
The look of sheer joy on Sola's face while she played with her kitten was a pleasure to behold. There's nothing like the innocence of a happy dog! And the kitten, tweaking the nose of his giant friend, was obviously have a great time, too.

I love the gentleness of Sola to Jerry when he touch his paw to Jerry he make it gentle and I notice how Jerry trust Sola when they play and do slight biting. Sola was very careful in playing with chicken nugget. Sola protect Jerry not to get hurt.
The way the dog interacts with the kitten shows that border collies are the most intelligent dogs. It's like it understands it has to be gentle and allow the kitten to attack it, so the kitten has fun both attacking and defending. Also, it looks like the dog is constantly checking with its human to make sure its not doing anything wrong. The high energy level of a border collie will ensure its always ready to play with the kitten. It seems like the perfect dog for a kitten 😊
Dogs who are loved and provided with a safe, secure, caring environment are so heartwarming. Anyone who claims they are just stupid animals and we as humans project emotion and intelligence where there is none are fools. Those who claim they don’t smile. What a life they must lead. Ignoring the characteristics that so clearly prove the dogs emotional intelligence. I feel sorry for anyone who fails to see the traits that make pet ownership so rewarding. This is one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen.

I have a Sheep Farm in the Central Highlands of Scotland, and I've had Border Collies all my life. They arecthe most active Dog you can get, my lead Dog Bhluu (blue) was once Dsttelite Tagged, and he managed to cover 87 Miles in 6 hours at Work one day! Border Collies can also learn up to 275 individual commands. Smart, Athletic and Loving, the Best Boy in the World!

This is like my late border collie’s dream scenario. She loved cats rats rabbits and other smaller animals. She would stare the same way that border collie is. Same exact expression it brings back memories.
My dog is half border collie half shepherd I rescue kittens and mama cats. She thinks all the kittens are her babies. She’s so good with them she let them climb on her. She lets them eat her food. She even lets them try to fake nurse on her it’s so cute.
I absolutely loved the part about Sola's tail being like a big feather; I hadn't thought about it that way. Border Collies are highly energetic. My boss use to bring in hers, and her yellow lab. Two different breeds. But collies are herders. She was extremely tolerant here. But amazing when you see kitten and adult dogs, the kittens take on their "adults" personality. They learn.
Smartest dogs ever bred. This one knows her shepherding business all right. Got to save, protect, nurture and guide that young one until it can take care of itself.

Also use saline nasal spray from a chemist. This really helped me.
