It's super cool imagine if it was a brand new car from the 90s that had been parked in the 90s, there would only be some plastic bits a pile of rust and an engine left :P

In the spirit of the Plymouth 'Road Runners' of the late 1960's, you could style it as a Plymouth 'Rum Runner' of the 1940's.
It would work with the black clear coat you mentioned and you could put a 'Raccoon Moonshine' mural on the door & small Raccoon (instead of a Road Runner) decals 😉😁

This could get you a whole bunch more subscribers... the old hot rod crowd want this stuff. I love the idea that your end product might look like it just lurched out of a field where it had laid dormant for decades. Dark and sinister, low, a real survivor. The running gear really ought to be classic, hot rod, race car stuff, but even if you go with modern, the new stuff needs to be authentic, true to itself. Your other builds are clearly for track day fun and you have come so far with them but (honestly) they look like an ongoing project, a random collection of evolving ideas. This one needs to be built to a theme and each part needs to fit properly into that theme. This one could win different prizes (not races) and would be fun to drive everywhere. If you can't find a replacement trunk lid you could think about making a 'continental kit' spare wheel recessed into the lid. I would like to see some of the interior stuff done with your hydra-dipping.

I love projects like these. I've gotten in dozens of cars filled with poop and all that have been sitting for decades, and 1 thing I always tell everyone is vacuum every single crevice before you start pressure washing, seems everyone jumps straight to pressure washing instead, and it goes everywhere, including onto you.
Love the look of this car, wouldn't cut or chop a single thing on the body, just fix the rear trunk, and fab the floor for new chassis, etc.
An interesting fact,...I have an all original mint condition '36 Ford 4dr sedan. Its similar to the Plymouth, but the Ford is the only one in '36 that came with a V8. Chevrolet and Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth never came with them, they all had straight 6's.

Please don't put it on that Civic chassis! Windows are flat so you could easily chop the top or whatever you want. You didn't see curved glass till the 50's.
Those factory frames are really cool actually. You can do a cool ass drop straight axle, then z-bar the frame and it'll put it on the ground!! Then you just buzz a 2x3 cross member in and hang a 9" housing in with a 4-link on bags for dirt cheap and that thing will look GANGSTA!!
Edit: I wonder how much power a fella could make with a twin turbo flathead with a homemade EFI intake and a microsquirt?!?🤔 These are the thoughts that solidify my compulsive insanity...😂

Think you had the right idea . Check out what newer chasis is close or right on and do a body swap. Or cut floor out weld in newer. If frame good blast it repaint and go from there. But realize if dont do a chasis swap will have to upgrade everything suspention, brakes , brake lines, gas lines, fuel pump, more then likely tank also. Bodyswap will have its own difficulties, Drive line tunnel fab, Electrical figuring what to cut out and what to keep. where you going to mount computer and wiring inside the bay or under dash.

@23:26 Bonnie and Clyde only stole and drove Ford Model A’s.
Clyde Barrow stated this fact in the letter he wrote to Henry Ford thanking him for such a fine automobile.
In the late 1900’s, these cars were 40 to 50 years old and considered “Junk”. Using one for target practice was common place. Gives the car character though!

Need to install some heavy eye bolt anchors around the edges of your shop floor, and then you can screw a eye bolt in place.
Then get you a harbor freight wench to move vehicles around inside the shop, as well as pull them in or out with the wench connected to a battery, are battery charger to power the wench for you.
Then you can do whatever you want by yourself, when there's no one around to help out, and you don't damage anything by pushing it with nothing solid to push against.
They're biggest wench is capable of moving 12,000 lbs for like $350.00 dollars which I know sounds like a lot, but how valuable is being able to do things like this without bending up untold amount of time involved in straightening bent metal or doing it when you need it done, and not having to wait on someone else who may or may not actually show up when you really need them to.

I would have taken it to the automatic car wash.... Gave it whatever money it wanted. Push it in and got the hell out of there...
I think you should consider on how rare that might be, and how much it might be worth restored... I know you won't do it.
I think you should do a will it start maybe...
The less cutting on this the better I would say, so i'm with you on that... Been trying to figure out what has the best frame potential for a swap, That would possibly be easy to get a hold of if you really need a new frame. I imagine you do if it's been sitting in a field for years... If Clettus hasn't got all the old ford rangers yet, they came with a hundred and fourteen wheelbase, and I do believe a good wheel track to match that... I'm not a Ford fan, but it'd be something good to build off of, maybe... If it's not too crazily complicated for you, Tesla model 3... B is for Build style... It's got the right wheel base, but it might be a little wide... Maybe a Hemi would be a nice touch, I'm not a dodge guy either, but it is a Plymouth...
Believe it or not, I know a guy that might know a thing or two about that car here in town of Aledo, Illinois, my old barber, He pretty much daily drives an old Chrysler a Similar model an year, like but that decent shaped though Pretty rough as well of course it's really old lol... All original with some custom touches lol, They built them real good back then... Jerry Mattson, The old guy's name if you wanna try to find a picture of his old ride on facebook or something It's green with a red fender everyone around here knows that old car...

Btw. one thing i am missing on all your builds so far are nicer steering wheels. The Jeep and the Bug could look a lot nicer with some cool race or modern but classic looking steering wheels.
