Maybe you should study your scriptures alot deeper than that hearsay you've heard from those pagan churches you attend. First comments by Obama: "It's not about where we've been, it's about where we're going." Oh what I'd give for Trump and today's political landscape to even pretend to understand what that means. Trump is nothing without his superlatives. He doesn't care about improving anything, just about what he can compare to others right now. And if it's even a fraction better, it's obv the best anyone could ask for. It's ridiculous. He couldn't have possibly done anything more for anyone... He has no sense of reflection or improvement at all.
And then Romney with the truth: "High-income Americans are doing just fine in this economy and they'll do fine whether you're president or I'm president." What happened to this sentiment? I stopped watching after that; I'd already seen enough. I don't need to be any more depressed by all the logic and common sense we've lost

This debate overwhelmingly highlights the recent changes in political debate culture. Two people who have a respectful discussion, who let each other finish - yes, we do have the two minute limit for answers, but it almost seems like there is mutual understanding of granting each other the time to talk. Candidates try to use provocative interruptions and questions for their own good - no blunt returns of "I am talking, will you let me finish!" or "Shut up!".
No matter your political views, this should be a STANDARD for political exchange. Let's work on ourselves getting back to that. State your opinion, but also listen to others respectfully. Together we will decide what is best.
